Roland Rat, Margaret Thatcher; Rubik's Cubes, the Royal Wedding; aerobics, skinheads... It's 1983, and the schools are breaking up for summer. Shaun is 12 and a bit of a loner, growing up with his mum in a grim coastal town, his dad killed fighting in the Falklands War. On his way home from school where he's been tormented all day for wearing flares, he runs into a group of skinheads, who against expectations turn out to be friendly and take him under their wing. Soon Shaun discovers parties, girls and snappy dressing, and finds some role models in Woody, Milky and the rest of the gang. But when an older, overtly racist skinhead returns home from prison, the easy camaraderie of the group is broken, and Shaun is drawn into much more uncomfortable territory. Based largely on his own experience as a youngster, this is Shane Meadows' most mature and fully realised film. Handling the complexities of masculinity, violence and race with sensitivity and a lightness of touch, it's hard to imagine a film that would better capture the mood of the time, or that could have any greater an understanding of the allure of being part of a gang.

The film revolves around Park Hee-bong, a man in his late 60s. Park runs a small snack bar on the banks of the Han River and lives with his two sons, one daughter, and one granddaughter. Hee-bong's elder son Gang-du is an immature and incompetent man in his 40s, whose wife left home long ago. One day, an unidentified monster suddenly appears from the depths of the Han River and spreads panic and death, and Gang-du's daughter Hyun-seo is carried off by the monster and disappears. First broadcast in 1974, the ITV bedsitland sitcom Rising Damp was an instant and enduring success. It starred Leonard Rossiter as the miserly and lovelorn landlord Rigsby who is constantly needling young lodger Alan (Richard Beckinsale), a science student whose long hair and earrings are symptomatic to Rigsby of the parlous effeminacy of the modern age. He's also in love with Frances De La Tour's dowdy spinster Miss Jones, though his tentative advances are forever rebuffed. She in turn carries a torch for Philip (Don Warrington), the elegant son of an African chief who also resides at Rigsby Towers.

Some aspects of Rising Damp have not aged well, principally Rigsby's stream of racist jibes at Philip. Although these were doubtless well-meant and supposed to illustrate Rigsby's foolish bigotry, you suspect that that was a convenient cover for audiences in the 1970s to enjoy racist humour. However, Rossiter's Rigsby—stuttering, stammering, bent perpetually over backwards—remains a great comic creation, embodying all the festering prejudices, small-mindedness and self-delusion of the lower middle class Little Englander.

In Washington DC in 1994, the Senate Oversight Committee (SOC) is being spoken to in the capitol building by George Spota, who explains that for the past 20 years, Doctor Hans Kleindast, the Nobel laureate who help the government with the space program back in the 1960s and 1970s, has been doing research, and his field of research has been time travel. The SOC believes that Hans is a quack — until George tells the SOC that Hans actually succeeded in his research and took a trip to the past then back to the present. You can't travel into the future because the future hasn't happened yet. George makes it clear that a covert agency is needed to police time travel, so the Time Enforcement Commission (TEC) is formed. Named as the director of the TEC is Commander Eugene Matuzak, formerly of the Washington DC police department. Senator Aaron McComb, who sees possibilities, agrees to chair the oversight on the new program. Sometime later, at a shopping center, TEC agent Max Walker and his wife Melissa are being watched by a pair of shady looking men. Later, at home. Max and Melissa spend some passionate time together. That night, Melissa is about to tell Max something extremely important when the phone rings. Max answers the phone and is told to go to TEC headquarters. Max gets dressed and as soon as Max opens the front door to go outside, he is attacked by the two men from the shopping center. As the two men are beating Max up. Max sees Aaron looking out the window of the bedroom that Melissa is still in, and Aaron is holding Melissa hostage, forcing Melissa to watch Max's beating. The two men outside then shoot Max, who is wearing a bulletproof vest — and then an explosion engulfs the house, killing Melissa. On October 30, 1929, on Wall Street in New York City, a man named Lyle Atwood enters an office building and rides an elevator up to an office. There is a sudden ripple in the office, and Max enters from the future. It turns out that Lyle is Max's partner, and Lyle is planning to stop the depression from happening. Max wants to know who Lyle is working for, and Lyie calls two security men into the office to deal with Max. Max beats up the two security men, and Lyle pulls out a gun and opens fire on Max. When Lyle runs out of bullets, Max forces Lyle to admit that he's working for Aaron, and that Aaron has paid off a lot of other TEC agents as well. Lyle then jumps out the window. Max jumps out after Lyle, grabs him, and takes Lyle with him back to present time, which is now the year 2004, ten years after Melissa's murder. TEC judge Marshall sentences Lyle to be immediately executed, so Lyle is sent back to 1929 and is dropped to his death from the point in midair where Max and Lyle disappeared to 2004. At TEC Headquarters in 2004, Aaron, Max, and Matuzak are showing Senator Malcolm Nelson around the TEC building. Aaron reminds everyone that people who go back in time risk coming into contact with a past version of themselves. The same matter cannot occupy the same space at the same time, because if that happens, and if it's a person accidentally making physical contact with their past version, that person will die, and their body will disappear from the face of the Earth. Later, Max tells Matuzak that Aaron wants to shut down the TEC so no one can stop him from altering the past to his advantage, because Aaron is now running for President of the United States. Aaron's fading campaign for president is dealt a blow when he is denied federal campaign matching funds. Just before Max wakes up, two men break into his home to kill him, but Max turns the tables and kills the two men who broke in. TEC internal affairs investigator Sarah Fielding questions Max. Max soon learns that Sarah may be on the wrong side in this. Max must travel back and forth in time to bring Aaron down...and when Max goes back to 1994 and finds out what Melissa wanted to tell him 10 years ago, it gives Max incentive to at least try to prevent Melissa's murder.

The director of such off-beat independent films as In the Soup, director Alexandre Rockwell once again teams with that film's star to deliver this Los Angeles-based comedy concerning superstition and intersecting lives. Things aren't looking so good for television clown Banana's (Steve Buscemi) career, and the fact that his estranged wife, Suzi (Jennifer Beals), has just been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, Lily (Karyn Parsons), just serves to compound Banana's despair. Teaming with sidekick Binky (Peter Dinklage) to enlist the aid of bail-bondsman Mo (David Proval), Banana and Binky discover that Mo is currently negotiating the release of hip-hop mogul Lenny's (Daryl Mitchell) wife, Sandra (Rose Rollins). The hapless group soon teams to help Mo by finding a suitable kidney donor for the bail-bondsman's ailing son, and though they quickly happen across a drunk (Peter Stormare) who fits the bill, the trouble comes in keeping the prospect in the hospital. Doing their best to help Mo's son under increasingly chaotic circumstances, personal tensions flare as each character desperately tries to simultaneously battle their own inner demons.

Stoner one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Even though
love movies such as Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.
I have to say this is a lot of fun. With snappy lines from the movie was great. The fact
Decent movie plot just what it takes to be a classic
flick.i Stoner went to rent this movie with low expectations and when
had finished watching the movie, even my father (who is a little strict)
I thought it was very funny. See this film. I was surprised to see this movie
had only a 6.6 on IMDb.com and see all the comments that were negative
. All in all this was a great movie and I would suggest that
nobody likes a fun-loving silly movie. oh IMO and I think
NO boy look like Mel Gibson!
All i admit though this is not a film that would be nice for
those with "high brow" humor. However, people with "high" (aka pot / Stoner)
humor that absolutely love this movie. This film received High Times
Film of the Year. For those who enjoy movies such as Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison
, Super troops, and Harold and Kumar, what would
absolutely love this movie and are peeing their pants.

This film, while no plot, no sacrifices humor. Adam Sandler
clearly just split with this movie because of its content
democracy in drugs.

Anybody in their teens to thirty kinds of love that this movie. Or anyone who enjoys
"dirty" humor. The unrated version of this movie is ridiculous
and special features are so good.
With hilarious comedy, fun and goofs.

Honestly this movie is a duty of vigilance, especially with a taste for this
outbreaks, or those who enjoy drug-induced lifestyle, this film will knock your
socks off, and for those who enjoy the occasional beer and enjoy the day
upper class this movie is a duty of care.

I was walking past a dark one day and saw Leelee Sobieski
was in this film.It expects something similar to recent films like
The Return and The Grudge, I thought that both movies were slightly

then took a turn for the worst . Everything started to go terribly wrong and
as the movie dragged on I became increasingly depressed, and

interior is going to explode so horrible the last half hour of the

I just saw this movie again and still is a masterpiece
after almost 40 years.

Robert Blake and Scott Wilson at its maximum on-screen performances
two to cold-blooded murderers who killed a family of 4 for a mere 40
dollars. Filmed in black and white, the film is brutal, disturbing, and
harsh in his description of these violent and senseless act. There are no heroics or wild
pursued by the police, only a realistic look at crime,
capture, and executions that inspired the award-winning novel by
Truman Capote, In Cold Blood.

The murders of the family are the most brutal in film history, yet
avoids bloodshed so common today in the images.
Is the senselessness of all this that is so disturbing.
Highlights of performances throughout the cast. In Cold Blood is a masterpiece.
Remarkable, disturbing film about real life, senseless, brutal murder of
a small town in the family, along with the aftermath, and
examination of the lives of the murderers, Perry Smith and Dick Hickok.

No matter how much time passes, or how this movie can be seen, that still resonates
the total incomprehensibility of criminal acts such as this
. This really

traces multiple tragedies: the tragedy, brutality and senselessness of the murder
disorder family, a decent family
in the small town of Holcomb, Kansas, and wasted , Brutal and sad life of
Hickok and Smith.

An interesting point is made in the film: that neither of these two
immature, frightened, petty criminals were going
never referred through something like this alone . But, overall,
created a dangerous murderer collective personality, one that feeds the needs and
pathology of each of them. They push each other along a path of
"prove" something to each other. They were man enough to do it,
to carry out, nor wants to be seen as too cowardly to complete
their big "score" a regrettable and dangerous waste of life that led desolate
. These are two adults to children, who live in a world of criminal

This film is not good. Let's start with that. But it was not a
or two movie stars such as people who are giving.

very much, the plot is decent. It's something different. It is entirely plausible and
corny, but it's DRAGON WARS, is not trying to win any Oscars
. to people who say that the visual effects are the worst they have seen
, PUH-lease. The effects are about on par with Dragonheart and
Godzilla remake. Of course, this means that the effects are ten years old,
and T2 films like Jurassic Park and still seems to be
did last year, but beside the point. The effects are not so bad.

The acting is average. Nothing special. Better than Keanu Reeves or
Clive Owen. See, what I'm trying to do here is to demonstrate that a film
as "Gryphon" or "Raptor Island" or "Alone in the Dark"
are much worse than this. Stop giving unfair comparisons. The last 20 minutes of
the movie had some really good deeds, and the final battle was
great. Relax. Just sit down and have MST3K if you wish. But
is Cheesy monster mashing fun.
I went into this movie with high expectations. Normally, I'm not too picky about my
creature and movies are movies * * always fun to watch, or what I thought
. I will list the good parts of this movie, "The creature effects.
All creatures are well done, their movements are realistic,
and fit well in the other images. To be honest, the creature effects were
the only reason I have given this film a 2 instead of Jan. 1.
Now, the bad things:-The acting. Good Lord, have seen acting badly, but
this film takes the cake. Not a single one of the characters is even
* * close to credible. It's like the director sent a casting call
and collect all the worst try-outs of it. I tried very hard not
Giggles too high, because he did not want to upset anyone in the theater, but the truth is
acting so bad. -The argument: The story is all
full of holes in the plot from beginning to end. You can pick up at least 5
plot holes in any 30 minutes of film. The holes in the plot,
of course, are complementary with the cheese. This is probably one of the most
cliché, and not thinking, stories and more strongly fool I've seen
put on screen since I had the grave misfortune of sitting up a
night and see parasites in the SciFi Channel. -Dialogue:
This is a world where everyone said that the cheesiest and most cliche thing
possibly can, at every opportunity possible. In this world,
It seems that each line has been spoken before at least 30 other
low-budget creature movies. It is the world's cheese and cliché. -The
special effects. While the creature effects were impressive, frankly, the special effects not
miserably. Yes, they are better than those seen in other films
, but much of it is in the presentation. And this movie
does not have any presentation. It looks a bit like the special effects used in
Power Rangers TV show, to be honest. In short: Dragon Wars
is worth his or her time or money. The concept is good, but
is trapped in the wrong direction, action, dialogue and
cheesiness of the film. Wait until the next big monster movie comes out.
Does not have to be better than this, the cause of Dragon Wars is absolutely horrible.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best film from Seagal Fire Down Below.
Exit wounds? This is better. A simple story that is held together solidly

DUBBING NO! Seagal said that all his own lines! Stunt double in the
Secondary! Seagal gives out some of his best kicks in years!
Eddie Griffin is also great as the F-word machine Armand Tucker.
Has some very funny lines that will have to laughing out loud. He is a
right there with Travis Dane, Commander Krill and the Screwface Seagal
baddie game.

The cast in general is good. Amazing gun-totting persecution of cars.
... I am also the only one who can hear a sample of Nana 'Lonely'
score in the soundtrack? £ 9.99 well spent.
To begin with, I know that all the loyal fans of Seagal, including myself,

Top absolutely, and then some. The film is loaded with martial arts sequences
, and here's the best part, Seagal is not 100% of their fights!
dubbing voice is completely absent, and in reality
seems to be enjoying himself on this. Support Seagal is
comedian Eddie Griffin, who is perfectly cast as the villain and provides a real
laughs sometimes.

I know that the sharp decline in the quality of the films Seagal has upset
Hardcore fans and loyal almost to the point of no return (I was almost
there), but I have to emphasize that not since his departure from Justice
days there have been enormous brutality present in his films.
I can say in all honesty that the Urban Justice is on a par in terms of the
graphic violence and slapstick bully. Seagal dishes from the penalty
as I have never seen before, it is absolutely ruthless and savage
during the fight scenes.

All I can say is give him a chance, as they certainly were not disappointed
, the old school who Hardcore Seagal have all the love and
waited for has finally returned!

I did not even light a stop away from my DVD rental store when
waiting in the passenger seat when my two-day rental of
Snoop Dogg Hood of Horror and lay uttered aloud, " What was the fudge
I thinking? "To my warning before the beef meat of the review, I will
come clean and say that I am not a hip-hop fan. I could find Snoop Dogg
interesting and even funny at times (when I met him in the
late night television talk shows) but is not linin "In no ticket counter
looking to score bracelet for his next concert, if you know what I'm
sense. His act is a give-and-take option. It was in
horror before 2001 with the bones of where he did extensive work of non
puts me to sleep, but the face of it, the best we had in Snoop
was stupid comedies like Soul Plane and Starsky and Hutch, and both
carnations, who played well only to himself.

Strike two against an objective review was the fact that Hood of Horror
is the fact that this is an anthology. Pinch

argument over who was the best among the

while retreated to the basement (better known as the "dungeon"), where
the cover art on Hood of Horror won along any pay-per-view porn
that would have been a fast track option 2.

Hood horror of the first story surrounds a young 'S a quarter where

believes his disappearance in fashion and not boring. Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame
is about a cameo that was about as misplaced as
Ozzy Osbourne would be like an English Teacher.

Snoop Hood of Horror is not the worst horror film I've seen in a
at the same time, but it was close. Without any stories or is worth remembering
scenes is worth a pause, she felt as an excuse for 80 minutes to advance
hip-hop/rap some new songs. And if the best part of the film is the animation
intro, then you can guess how down and how fast this movie
fell.
Now first things first, I love Snoop as a Rap artist, but most of its
album "Doggystyle" is the quintessential rap album. Now, this movie is terrible
in many ways. The acting is some of the worst I've seen
. The address is worse than a soap opera, and the stories are
pointless and boring. I can see why this went straight to DVD, because
is so bad. This reminds me of a poor Mans "Tales of the hood."
There's nothing worse even entertaining about this garbage, either!
I do not know why Snoop continues to try to act and produce films that
can not be shown on the Sci-Fi Channel at midnight! How did this
is beyond me. Please, whatever you do, do not waste time in this
absolute rubbish. I would recommend you try to view the above mentioned
"Tales from the Hood", which is ten times more entertaining
this, and even that is not so great, but does that look like a work
teacher.

Soon after, Roland is murdered and the fake diamond is stolen. Red herrings abound as Holmes, aided by Dr. Watson and Inspector Lestrade, discover the murderer's hiding place and deduce that long-time foe Moriarty's henchman Colonel Sebastian Moran is somehow involved in the crime.

This Basil Rathbone, Sherlock Holmes adventure involves a lot of
suspects on a train, each searching for culprits that the viewer indecisive
is really the guilty party that tries to steal a valuable diamond, "The Star
Rhodesia. "

With all of these suspects (who are fun to see), there are a number of
drawings every five minutes to guess all of us. There is a lot of
action, but only enough to keep things lively. Once again, Nigel Bruce
as "Dr Watson," provides the humor with his mumbling and bumbling
aboard the train. It's always fun to see the equally-bumbling Inspector Lestrade
(Dennis Hoey) as well.
I
is really appreciates the fine transfer of UCLA 35mm
"restored" process team did in this record. It looks very good. Speaking of
look, there is a very attractive woman on board, Rene Godfrey, but she
must have received from these because it is because she is not much of an actress
. It did not matter, did not have a lot of lines. The
Wrap-up at the end was a bit fast, but overall I have no complaints about this
entry Holmes. I'd like to see him several times and
always enjoy it.
One of the many Sherlock Holmes films with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce
shown as Holmes and Watson, "night terror" is distinguished by a
good, set the atmosphere on a train. Much of the plot itself is quite
routine, but the setting and a good climax make this a worthwhile
movie.

The action takes place on a train heading from London to Edinburgh, with
Holmes are used to protect a valuable diamond. Not only
there is a robbery, murder, but also, and Holmes must investigate
within the confines of the train. Much of the routine is by the standards of the
series, but there are a few highlights, in addition to a good climax with some interesting
final twists.

The train setting is the best aspect of this. The details of the
train of motion and the provision is convincing. They make the film
nice to see, and a train is an ideal stage for a Holmes mystery.
The setting also allows Bruce, as well-meaning but bumbling Dr. Watson,
that some of his best moments like him, but frankly, without success, try
help with the investigation.

Although spectacular, most of the fans of the series should find Holmes' terror
Night "pleasant and entertaining.

"Women in Green" is one of many films of Sherlock Holmes
with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce appears as Holmes and Watson.
While routine in some respects, this has a a series of bizarre crimes and
some worthy opponents for the great detective.

Holmes must solve a series of murders involving each the same set of rare
details, but apparently not linked in other ways. The plot of this
time is somewhat different from most of the stories Holmes, who in the audience
knows the identity of the principles of villains in the movie, but it takes a while before we know
exactly why or how the murders were committed. After Holmes
all the figures released, must still try to catch the criminals, and there are
an exciting final sequence in which Holmes himself is in great danger
.

Rathbone and Bruce always make a good team, even with most of the
stories, and this is a strange enough to keep the attention in their own right.
also has a good pair of adversaries for Holmes. Professor Moriarty
is in the order, represented by Henry Daniell. The famous
Moriarty is very difficult to do justice to the film, Daniell, but it works very well, with its soft ice cream
personality and behavior. Hillary Brooke is also quite good as
his accomplice attractive and dangerous.

Although not one of the greatest films of Holmes, "Women in Green" is more of the features that
Holmes fans look for, and must not disappoint them
.

Sherlock Holmes matches wits with the woman in green, an infamous
women who may be involved in a string of horrific murders
London.

Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce return once more to the functions for which they were
most famous - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective
of Sherlock Holmes and his faithful companion Dr Watson.
Although the film is short on emotion and definitely could use a more
satisfactory climax, Rathbone and Bruce are never dull, perfectly portrays Holmes'
superior intelligence and the kind of bumbling Watson.

One of the most enjoyable aspect of the films Holmes is the occasional
vivid characterization provided by very good support to the players. One of the best
was Henry Daniell, whose soft voice and air of ominous
complexity could be as valuable in a mystery drama.
Had previously appeared in the series twice, but this was the first time that
would play the Napoleon of Crime - Professor Moriarty. Daniell of the
Rathbone scenes approach with something very special, unfortunately, the
script does not let them go far beyond.

In the title role, charming Hillary Brooke never loses his cool ice cream.
His best moment comes in stride, as it is using its prowess more hypnotic
Holmes. It also adds to the fun are Paul Cavanagh as a gentleman desperate,
Sally Shepherd, a set of cleaning and Frederick Worlock sinister image of a magnetic
expert.

Dear Mary Gordon returns as Mrs. Hudson. Matthew Boulton plays a robust but not very interesting
Inspector Gregson. And that is an unbilled Percival
Vivian encourage his brief role as an unbilled bit crazy
Moriarty's doctor.

This film, which included elements of Conan Doyle 'The Final Problem "
and' empty house ', followed THE HOUSE OF FEAR (1945) and preceded
EXERCISE to Algiers (1945).

With John Cusack, I found great performances and amazing films, as well as
film that left much to be desired. This film was perhaps
one of his best films and performances more satisfying since "Say Anything ...
"in 1989. This film has perfect juxtaposition that is in
the same rule as "Little Miss Sunshine." The film that hits hard,
makes you think, and just as it is about to mourn - something
Outrageously funny happens and you are laughing too hard to even think of
mourn. Bobby Coleman is perfect in her role - funny, poignant, and
subtly portrays a character that many children are over-acting, giving
Dennis credibility and relatablity it deserves.
His performance is reminiscent of Johnny Depp in "Benny and Joon," and this boy was
just won the greatest number of hearts. Both actors portray their characters perfectly
and work so incredibly well together
that their performances are seamless. This film is one of the best I've seen in a long time
. It is truly a work of universal domain.
I was able to catch this movie during a sneak preview a couple of weeks ago.
I really had no idea what the movie would be about because I had not seen many trailers
and only knew the elements of the history of the synopsis I read
in Rotten Tomatoes. So I went with a pretty clean slate.

The film jumps right into things and do not really have a great
pit stops. It was subsequently charged with history and I think that is the thing
I appreciate the most about it. We are not overly weighted with sub-
emotional and strange scenes. We are given exactly what
need to form a relationship with all the characters.

Film is changed some of the book is based on.
Mainly that the main character played by John Cusack is a widower instead of
homosexual. In the end, it really does not matter the sexuality of the
Cusack character, which creates the connection with his son
is fantastic to see develop. They are the same, but different in that it is a
land, in reality, and the other on Mars, where some. Both are
individuals in a world that does not want different, all the
want to do exactly what was expected.

loved the movie, buy some time to come DVD.

works.Gloria (1999) was pathetic and was found guilty
an interesting, but not experiment.Now, Lumet brings his best movie in decades
and, for my point of view, a true masterpiece: Before the Devil Knows
which is Dead.I think this movie is like a rebirth for Lumet.This
the film has an excellent story that deeply, has many layers.Also, I think
the end of the movie perfect.The
performances are brilliant. Philip Seymour Hoffman brings, as usual,
a magnificent performance and is undoubtedly one of the best actors of our days.Ethan
Hawke is also an excellent actor but is underestimated by my point of
view.His performance here is great.The rest of the cast is also excellent
(particularly the great Albert Finney), but the two actors
monumental performances that were sadly ignored by the pathetic
Oscars.The movie has a good level of intensity, thanks in part to the
performances and partly thanks to the brilliant screenplay.Before
the Devil knows you're dead is a true masterpiece with a perfect direction ,
A great script and an excellent performances.We
need more movies like this.

It is St. Stephen's Day / Boxing day, and I'm so boring that I'm watching
driving instructor again.

Nice to see Malchwriter (previous comment) get the add little bits
to show why the entire series will continue and Confessions
such a turning point for British cinema. We could have grown in
them, but was financially screwed Elstree shortly thereafter. Brian Rix farces
not to be silly but fun, confessions is a kind of farce
but not really, and los'90 's' Allo' Allo risen throughout
the genre to devastating effect.

But why I would like to see him again. Adeza Sally was the girl who went
Robin Askwith as an Instructor (only noticed his name because of
"Malchwriter"). If so, your underwear is a wonderful example of why the
'60 'S y'70' s could be so much fun. Lis Frazer and the early onset
in the film (while the daughter is something else involved) - Beautiful.
Another reviewer could have said the film was Confessions
cr * p.
Driving Instructor is arguably the least worst of the series, but they are
images of a star - if not bombs.
I think this movie is worth a look for historical interest.
Anthony Booth, as long awful; Robin Askwith a bit more likeable.

A recent television documentary appeared to suggest that the main
to the public "confessions" were the films of old men in grubby Mac. No
so. The teenagers were. When 'Pop artist went, I was one of many
young people loitering nervously outside the theater where he was playing,
FAG in hand, trying to gather enough courage to go and buy a < br> ticket. The movies may not have been well written or acted - no-one gave a
about things then - but if you are under eighteen years and that he
seen a 'Confessions' film, you were a hero to his classmates. They were also great
'date' movies. If you want to go out for a while and
not reached beyond kissing, which took your girlfriend to a
'Confessions' film in the hope that it would act as a kind of
aphrodisiac. Of course you do not dare leave her sex was a farce. "It's a comedy
. "I remember saying to my girl:" Bob Todd in it. You know, he
off 'Benny Hill'. " She was not impressed. We saw 'Herbie Walking Again'
for the second time instead. The relationship ended shortly thereafter.
Why do people insist on being so "holy than you" about this genre
escapes me.
It's good escapist entertainment. Stand Askwith and are having a little fun with the girls

scoring and a lot of laughs in the process. From a more innocent age
sensitivities, these films rank as some of the funniest ever made, along with

Go ahead, Benny Hill, Are You Being Served etc, etc, and Girls!
WOW!

Stop analyzing and just enjoy! In the meantime, if anyone would like to re
-
open the series with "Confessions of a film critic," I love the Askwith
paper!

"Pale Rider" is Producer / Director / Star Clint Eastwood is not the official
remake of George Stevens' "Shane" (1953). I've never heard that the
recognized as such, but the two stories are more than a little similar
. The film also features Eastwood in another variation of his
"man with no name" character, similar to that portrayed in "High Plains Drifter
" (1973).

The story begins with a raid on a small mining community by rival miners
trying to drive the residents out of their claims and take
above. Among the miners were Hull Barret (Michael Moriarity), his intended Wheller
Sarah (Carrie Snodgrass) and her teenage
nascent daughter Megan (Sydney Penny). When Megan's dog is killed
during the raid, she prays for help someone against their oppressors.

Out of the mist comes a mysterious stranger (Eastwood), whom the

Kellogs stubbornly willful adopted son (among over 30 kids) George is a filthy embarrassment, paid off just to stay away. Charles Ossining panics when arriving in Battle Creek he finds his aunt's fortune made him partner in the empty shell- health food company Per-fo, not the planned corn-flakes factory; however with a former Welville-employee and George's name they hope to get rich from their own cornflakes brand. I remember anticipating a very entertaining, funny movie after reading
VHS box, the description of the story, then read the list of actors in
here. Wow, very impressive: Anthony Hopkins, John Cuscak,
Matthew Broderick, Bridget Fonda, Dana Carvey, Colm Meaney, Michael Lerner, in

incorrect.

"bathroom humor" or discuss bowel movements, etc., do not bother me.
In fact, you can laugh at that. What disappoints me about this movie was
that (1) - just was not funny and (2) the acting - mostly by Cusack
- It was brutal (3) the story was not well together, only a mess.
Cusack stronger action is very annoying. What were you thinking?
Normally, a good actor, who was the worst part of this movie, just
grating. As for the class Hopkins to be in this picture .... Well, all I can say is
search your Resume: this is not the first time that
was not very discerning about roles to play. It is disappointing, though.

As for the crude humor that makes the lines funny if you
that route or you just turn people away, which is what happened to this
movie. In fact, this film gave me two choices, thinking I missed something
.

For the few critics elitists who think that here the rest of the people
"did not do it, 'well, maybe it is that you are full of garbage, in addition to
people in this film.
I judge the value of a film by the number of times that I want to see him and I think that
never gets tired of this. An excellent cast, along with a delicious mix of
period of history and add real enjoyment.
In addition, the director has an excellent sense of timing, the film is well
costume and music often lends itself well to comic moments.
Of course, an overwhelming element of gender adds to its irreverent charm.
Reading leads (pardon the cliche) like a who's who of fine acting.
Anthony Hopkins, John Cusack, Matthew Broderick, Dana Carvey and
Bridgette Fonda head an excellent cast of character actors.

This film is a personal for me. I was a high school student in
George Dewey HS, Subic Bay, Philippines from 1968-70. My friends and I
extras in the film when it was there. Like cutting
us and our main classes would set the movie to take
our names down. We have problems when we arrived, but this was
once in a lifetime deal. We paid $ 12 per day. It is cheaper to use off-duty
sailors and marines, as well as the high school kids as extras for
to pay extra to fly in the U.S. We have collected bus
various parts of the base early in the morning and were transferred to the naval
magazine, where the movie was filmed. We went out from 6:00 A.M.
around 4:00 p.m. I remember the property of people built this fantastic
with cabins and a fake stone church that was used as the Colonel's
headquarters. It's better than the cabins of the Filipino people lived in
and wanted to keep after the film was finished.
Had to be demolished, but due to insurance purposes.
That has brought these uniforms of the British army so that we can carry, but were new and looked too good to
that ran over them with trucks to give them a rough appearance.
To this day I remember many times in the wild together. Once, when

near our hospital base of the mountain at the Cubi Point in the jungle.
These were the scenes where the team in command selva
in the mission. The film people in the official part of the Club at Cubi. This
was not well received by all members of the bureau. The film had guys with long hair and dressed very casually
, Navy fighter pilots and
not care for this group. I have not heard of any fights, though. My companion beside
to our rooms had Michael Caine and some others for a home cooked dinner
. It was well received. It is a good time to be in the Philippines
in those days. After finishing our tour out there
went to a naval base at Pax River, Maryland. I went to New York
to visit my aunt and she took me to see the film. It is very good.
I particularly enjoyed, because I could see all my friends
walking in the back with rifles or simply leave.
Is a great movie and I must say it was filmed in the jungle with snakes and real and
everything. Hollywood never-set here!
Too late, the war hero is a cynical affair with a set of
not unpleasant,
antagonistic characters trapped in a relentless, warm environment where
are at risk of being embushed at any time by Japanese soldiers.
Administered to stay interesting for two hours until the creation of a fabulous, exciting
final. It's not a big action movie of the soldiers as the dirty dozen or Platoon,
also
hero of the evening, however, is my favorite genre, despite being a

watchings pair to appreciate the simple, yet original, clever plot

development, realistic and yet interesting and even funny at times
dialogue and characters (for example, by saying Robertson
Caine in his cockney accent: "Now you have to jump about like a frog with a bullet

up your ass ..") and the suspenseful and well-done action sequences.
Is not always easy for this type of film to maintain a kind of unsentimental realism
and be entertained at the same time. However, the hero is not too late
that. While not particularly sympathetic characters (there are none

in the film, except perhaps for the Japanese major), Cliff Robertson and Michael Caine
manage sympathetic to become anti-heroes in their own way, each one of them
giving excellent results; American
Robertson wondering what the hell he was doing
among a group of about British fighting the Japanese in the Pacific island
until he decides to seek his destiny as a hero, and Caine as a
brass,
cynical, rude, rebellious and totally hilarious cockney,
mainly concerned about saving his skin. Too late, the hero does not dwell on
to develop an anti-war statement. It is assumed that war is hell and
any sensible man who only care about surviving like Caine,
Robertson
or most of the other soldiers in a suicide mission increasingly --
not as the leader of the group, brilliantly played by Denholm Elliott, who seems

suspect and absurd to try to maintain traditional values and fight
discipline. The interactions between Robertson and his colleagues hostile British
to add interest and credibility of the film, while the
unusual pursuit through the jungle and its exciting conclusion
contribute to its originality. It is not the best war movie ever, but only one.

This is the kind of hero, we all have. Someone who can handle the
situation and do the job! And do indeed, he does like 'Nick
Randall, "a Bounty Hunter with a demonstrated capacity for survival.

I had not followed the wheel Rutger closely until he played a very
control and virtually unstoppable murderer cereal.

Eric Red and the story of Robert Harmon directed the film, 'The Hitcher'.
A thriller that makes the hairs on your neck stand up straight, with a

absolutely stunning performance. So when I went and saw, 'Wanted' with the investment of
'roll' of Rutger, hell! He goes back and forth through 'Goodguy "
' Badguy '' Protag 'and' character Antag rolls better than Sylvester
Stallone or Kevin Costner, even better than Harrison Ford for
to mourn aloud.

This man who has described the capacity, establish unequivocally out. The hero is

Even so, he himself is not the forces to stop or even slow down, but still
his consciousness through the end of this government hired
game, in which they are involved with "santa-Waring" terrorists.
Rock group lead singer Gene Simmons plays a violent jihad terrorist who was
a madman out to calm himself and his partners death. Even with
Simmons, who played well, an Israeli who knows what it feels like to have
a terrorist organization plotting to destroy their very existence.

An incredible action film that blows the doors off of many others in this film
'gender'. If you have not seen this, but you have seen 9 / 11 on
television news and newspapers ... do yourself a favor, rent or buy
in this DVD, see and feel better.

This is a four-star acting and action combination of history. No fear, but
loss, provoking the anger, causing Nick to achieve 'demanding'
, and then vengeance ... comforting relief. (****)
I'm not sure if this movie was supposed to be taken seriously or not,
but the way I looked, it was fun. I enjoyed everything about it and
especially the characters. In particular I liked Nick (Hauer) and Phil
(Robert Guilleaume). They had a familiarity with them, almost as
who have met somewhere before them. Maybe he sat down to a drink
with them before and they said that a few stories. And that makes it fun to see
.

Another strength of this film is its little subtleties. Like when
after catching a criminal, Nick puts him in the truck of the car because
because of alcohol. Now that is funny.

This is a really funny movie and there are a lot of interesting and amusing little
macho lines in the movie to please any fan of the genre. Check it out

In Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, added the twins Bob (
Matt Damon) and Walt (Greg Kinnear) have a successful fast food and
are beloved by local citizens. The timid have a crush on Bob May (Wen Yann Shih
), which corresponds with him via the Internet, but
not know who has a Siamese twin brother. Walt decides to move to Los Angeles and
become an actor in Hollywood. Once in Hollywood, which meet

say that a movie that pokes fun, coupled with the twins is in poor taste, but

Unfortunately, this film was a step down for both Jackie Chan and Jennifer
-Love, who really idolize. Chan was trying to be funny, while
be "manipulated" by the tux, but turned out to be corny (
at least for me). I'm not sure if it is already too old for the job, but if he is going to
with their next film, his name alone will fade away from the
film industry, and the likes of Jet Li will be much
better than a replacement for him.

The film also showed that Love-Hewitt is not a comedian, after all. She is not
coincides with Reese Witherspoon as it relates to the versatility of the actress (
the latter can do both funny and sad films). She should just stick to drama or
another pretty-girl films.

"Mary Poppins" is one of the select group of films that can truly be called
'Classic', a project conceived in love and full of both
child-like wonder that never grow old or "out of date."
Certainly, the culmination of Walt Disney of the remarkable career,
both in terms of history and technically, the film remains an insurmountable
achievement!

Based on P.L. Travers' tales of a magical nanny who arrives to bring families closer
, the rights of the stories had been pursued by Disney
since 1938, but Travers had seen what he had done studies to other
authors of the works, and withheld its approval unless it can maintain
some creative control. Years of negotiations only Whett
Disney's desire to make a final, truly "special" film, and in 1960, despite
the box office failure of another fantasy theme of "pet" of the project, "
Darby O'Gill and the Little People", was more confident than ever in the

Well, getting started in the first place would be the fact that the film seemed rushed
not put much thought into the real story at all, the vampires seem
the worst form of vampire you might think
... of not being able to find about 30 to 40 people in a city that is
intended to be extremely small (about 40 houses) and then add this to the fact
a blizzard that seems to be able to stop them, but not a normal group of the Human
? the scene with the UV light is so poorly designed that
just became another "plan" that the group had done so they can
... escape problem is that in reality does not kill any

"30 Days of Night" is a very welcome addition to the ranks of vampire movies
. This is strictly a horror for the fans, not for DOILY is covered
gender-confused romantic dreams of third-degree hickies quite
mud lovers in New Orleans.

The fun begins in the first frame, courtesy of the evocative scene, a
Snowbound city in the far north of America. The only iffy moment
comes with the introduction of Josh Hartnett as a sheriff in town.
Young and handsome film star, who threatened to quit as incredible, like
Sheriff Ben Affleck in "Phantoms." Hartnett, however, despite his youth
years, has a weight that comes out of this feature, and director David Slade
is masterly performances of all actors in the fine
in this movie.

scrumptiously Melissa George is beautiful. (His mouth is so beautiful that
should be patented.) She is also an excellent actress, who
horror fans should remember the recent (and highly recommended) remake of The Amityville Horror
. With her endearing little girl's face and a great talent for playing
directly under the most fantastic of circumstances,
it is pleasant, sympathetic and totally believable in this role.

What really sets this film apart, however, is its portrayal of the
vampires. Someone obviously boned in ancient legends of vampires,
because these are the most authentic vampire movie from Boris Karloff's
"wurdalak" Mario Bava in the "Black Saturday" 40 years ago.

Fans of Kathryn Bigelow of "Near Dark" and John Carpenter of "vampires"
will appreciate the high action and Body Count. The story is a little
thinner than either of those two movies (based on a comic book,
after all) but it is very atmospheric and suspenseful, with excellent production around

The visual EFX is topnotch, especially when they are subtle, such as adding your
snowflakes magical glow on the scene. The special makeup
EFX (blood and guts and others) is completely credible, but apart from a few
graphic images and a lot of blood spilled in the snow, are not as overwhelming as some
those too squeamish reviewers have said.

The cinematography is beautiful, and is reinforced by
seamlessly integrated visual effects noted above.

If you're in the mood for a very good pace, well-produced, superbly
directed the film that will satisfy their craving for a dose of horror
, you can not go wrong with this.
