An evil Archbishop of the Catholic Church summons a demon to try and destroy the world. The summoners are killed, but the demon escapes to hunt down its needed victim. The victim soon turns out to be a child that has the potential to become a saint. After ravaging the town and turning its citizens upon themselves, the demon soon locates and captures his prey.

Recently I saw this piece of trash on television and Polish phew!
what a stink, I can not believe the good reviews people give here.Michael
Rooker, who gave us an incredible performance as Henry Lee Lucas in
"Henry: Portrait of a serial murderer" ; Is completely wasted as a well-armed
priest, yeah right! While there are some effective sequences (including
beginning of the film) the overall effect is lame.The film resembles my

TV and film that is devoid of any scares, gore and violence.The you are doing fine, I suppose
, but these CGI-effects are terrible and the plot is boring.So
if you're looking for a good horror movie, and then try to avoid this at all costs

I love this movie. It has a fairly original plot and is quite well

directed and filmed. The effects are generally quite good, particularly in
the devil. There are some more interesting characters, like the priest
murderer and madman repair-man dude who plays Tony "Candyman" Todd
. Kevin Zegers as the demons intended victim adds a touch of class to
the film with its well-designed and credible image of Chris.

The film just screams of 1980 directly to video horror, but with a

bigger budget and better effects. Some people seem to think this is a criticism,
but if one takes into account how popular the 1980 horror flicks are,
I do not see it as a criticism of all, I just see the movie as a movie - retro.
What really makes the film stand out are the big lines ...
Priest walks into the police station and said "I am looking for a boy." Police
man replied "Is not it illegal for the father?" The priest replies that "
F ** k off! ". You just gotta love it!
