Gimmicky thriller premises are a dime a dozen. Fox 24
Expose essentially on the idea that each episode without any rhythm or consistency.
The real trick is implementing the idea with the right skill and panache
weave all in a fun thriller. So is David R. Ellis
Cellular Phone Booth worthy of praise, or is it just another Nick of Time?
You may be surprised to see that it is as enjoyable as the
First, with only occasional touches of pure cheese in the latter.

Youth unfinished Ryan (Chris Evans) is just have a normal day
sun and fun on the beach, but his girlfriend (Jessica Biel), sees its
behavior as lazy and irresponsible. To try to patch things up, which promises
run some errands for her, but on the way, he receives a call
on his cell phone from a stranger named Jessica Martin (Kim Basinger
), a woman who claims to have been kidnapped and is being held at
attic of a house unknown. His appeal to Ryan was completely
Azar, but the catch is, she has to stay on the line or
signal can be lost forever.

Although initially dubious of his outrageous claims, Ryan arrives quickly
believe after his overhears one of the kidnappers by telephone.
Deciding to help in any possible way he can, Ryan tries to locate
His family before the kidnappers. Unfortunately, the obstacles to

These obstacles that make up at least half the fun of seeing
Cellular. Whether a battery dying, "typical" call close encounters
villains racing cars that require driving backwards or
the wrong side of the road, the director keeps the pace of Ellis lightning speed
The presentation of all possible obstacles for the maintenance of a cell phone signal
life. That might not be as immediately catchy as a premise
Maintenance of a bus above 50 mph, but it is difficult when attention is the trick
Delivered with this new skill and a lot of energy. Ellis also
pleasant Final Destination 2, which has shown what it takes to deliver
thrillers straight-faced, despite its natural
Local ridiculous.

But as a fantastic job as Ellis ago, it is the cast that keeps
Impulse, even when the story starts to sag. Like other
Caught in this horrible situation, Chris Evans is completely convincing
E immensely attractive as Ryan, playing a role otherwise simple
