Download Movie Hard CandyFor three weeks, 14-year-old Hayley Stark has been chatting on-line with 'Lensmaster319', a 32-year old fashion photographer, named Jeff. The two agree to meet at a coffee shop called Nighthawks. They hit it off, despite the massive age difference. Hayley appears to flirt with Jeff, and Jeff generally restrains himself, even admitting that he must wait 4-years until he can be with her. But his reservations are apparently not enough to decline when Hayley all but invites herself over to his house. Once at the house, manipulation becomes the name of the game, and the pedophile seems to be on the non-traditional side of it.

I was lucky enough to be in one of the first hearings of evidence for this
cinema in Los Angeles. Not knowing anything about the movie, except it is
described as suspense / horror, and stars Patrick Wilson
and 14 years old, I went in bad while waiting for another movie mediocre bar.
I could not have been more wrong!

Hard Candy is an intense psychological drama, with incredible performances of both
Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson. The two actors are
Virtually the only two people with lines in the film, aside from a few brief appearances
Sandra Oh and Jennifer Holmes. Until I have only
Wilson, seen in the Alamo and the Phantom of the Opera, but I was blown away
how they handled this performance. The slow, suspenseful film is set
Mainly at home in Los Angeles photographer Jeff, a man aged 32
Who Hayley, the maturity of 14 years of age, who met him online , the suspects
Being a paedophile. The pace was steady and phenomenal - after a brief
Exhibition starting the actual order in about 20 minutes
movie, and not let up from there. The film and camera
The work was excellent with the film. Rather than be very bloody,
adult themes of the film lead to a more psychological creepiness.
There are also questions that remain unanswered until the end of the movie
, when everything is wrapped well - leaving you perplexed
True to the identity and motivations of the characters for most of the
Duration.

Horror films are not my cup of tea, but it's psychological drama. A
Principles autumn launch date has been rumored, and I can only hope this film
not be lost in the shuffle between the summer blockbusters and Oscar
season. I also hope Lion's Gate markets for this movie for what it is,
not trying to target fans of the bar, or an adolescent crowd.
"Hard Candy" is about a teenage girl named Hayley (Ellen Page), which
He likes to surf the Web and explore Internet dating as most normal
Adolescents. The film opens with an instant message chat between
Hayley and a much bigger guy named Jeff (Patrick Wilson). Jeff and Hayley
plan to meet until later that day, when the reunion that becomes
An unexpected series of events. An intense psychological drama
Ensues

… I have just come from an advanced screening of "Hard Candy" in the
Film Festival Philadelphia. And let me be the first to say, this movie
was remarkable. The idea behind this movie is so powerful and disturbing
At the same time. This film focuses on two people, Hayley, a 14
year-old girl and a 30-something pedophile named Jeff. A film
The matter is something that is a serious problem in the world and I
this film takes the idea of a new and unique level.

During this movie, I could not take my eyes off the screen. You watch
amazement as this teenager, who seems so innocent
really controls the whole situation. She is intelligent and has everything planned
And nothing in the film flows together so well. Although Hayley
There is a very likable character, I was especially encouraging its
entire film. She is such a smart and evil character who seemed
just sick by paedophiles.

Another thing that is very interesting about this movie is that
really rely more on facial expressions and dialogue then in
real images. There is a part in the film that is extremely disturbing
and it is something that I had never seen in a movie before. The scene
Hayley tries to make a deal to put it in a way inexplicit.
In that scene, never see what is happening, but it was the backbone
Tingling only see the emotions and hear the dialog of the characters
. A powerful scene was so intense and disturbing
I may never forget.

Lastly, I liked how despite the fact that the film was a drama very strong,
Screenplay had some light on the humor, too. The line on the
Roman Polanski is a classic, as well as the whole "I am a student honor roll"
line. The film is so serious sometimes, it's good to get a chuckle
Here and there to allow the audience to take a respite from being deposited
their seats with suspense.

As I stated earlier there are only two real characters in this movie
which Hayley and Jeff. Ellen Page makes an incredible job
And it offers a mind-boggling performance. His character is both insane
And likable. Patrick Wilson was great too.
Made a very interesting and powerful performance as a paedophile who did not want
admit that there was a problem. Their emotions during the film were incredible
And very realistic.

"Hard Candy" was directed by first time director David Slade. I feel
This is an impressive and powerful first film about an uncomfortable subject
Matters that so few speak. His only vessel to capture not only
characters emotions and anger, but also the only camera angles is
Very good. Also the only scenes of the dark and the colors were
Shining. I love the fact that the director did the characters
be fictional characters, but someone who can be found on a daily basis
.

The script was written by Brian Nelson, who is also a scriptwriter for the first time
a movie. I normally do not review how I feel
About the script, but it is so unique and daring that I feel I must
. The way the script develops the characters is incredible and
The manner in which the film is actually a real place to end one of the poly -
Choose your own ending movies so many people are using today.
What the film does is everything that goes at the end open to discussion.
Why Hayley do what he did? Who's really Hayley and so forth. It
An incredible script that Nelson should be very proud.

Bottom Line: "Hard Candy" is one of those incredible movie with powerful
Scenes of great intensity and acting. The script is extremely sweet and
Take the idea of a paedophile movie to a new level. This film allows its
Hearing to think and also surprised by what is happening in the
film. It is not a film for those who love the light-hearted films or films
are completely resolved at the end. Hard Candy is really one of
counts f * ck movies that when you leave the theater all you want is
has just talk about what happened. It is a remarkable film that will stay with me
for many weeks to come.

MovieManMenzel the final rating of "Hard Candy" is a 9 / 10. A powerful
still disturbing film that touches an issue that is constantly being ignored
in our world, but warned that this movie is definitely not for the weak heart
crowd.
