After happily flunking out of several Prep Schools, Igby escapes into the bohemian underworld of Manhattan. His darkly comic trip—shared by a deviant cast of characters, including his terminally bored, part-time lover Sookie, his Godfather's trophy mistress Rachel, and smack-dealing performance artists Russel—veers from bizarre to tragic in Igby's ultimately noble attempt to keep himself from "going down."

Due to the poor review I have read I think I should introduce another giving a
Best image from the movie then the other reviewer. All these
says that things were not clear to him seemed very clear to me. Yes, Susan Sarandon made
character gave birth to two of the boys, except that one
Illegitimate by Jeff Goldblums character, and the other was his true son
her husband, who was driven by his meddling madness. Whereas the other
Igby reviewer felt that was a mess of a movie and compared it with the Royal Tennenbaums
(I agree that is a total mess and completely unenjoyable), I felt that was
Igby a refreshing black comedy. That is exactly what you get when you cross the
comedy and drama. Have plenty of heart, and the excellent
Perspicaz sense, the real joke and sharpness in their approach to
material ... I enjoyed it thoroughly. He came through a brain
experience for me. Highly recommended.
