First - I am biased. Let me go to the way in the first place. I grew up in Philly
Downtown for 70 years and am a lifelong Eagles fan.
So, I was very excited to see the film to get the juice
2006 Eagles next season while hoping to revive life Philly
1976. 1975
Eagles (a team bad enough) and Vince Papale (quite a man down on his luck
). Soon both the team and Vince know their fortunes
about to change with the arrival of Dick Vermeil, the new head coach of
Eagles.

The basic need for any biographical film is that it must establish a
relationship with the public in order to be emotionally
Connected to the film. I would say that only an Invincible, "so"
With this work. For example, I recently saw "Walk The Line", where
The film does such a thing is what makes us really care about
Johnny Cash and June Carter. Moreover, Mark Wahlberg version of Vince Papale
keeps us at a distance limited while offering an insight into
What really makes Vince tick. It does not help that the script keeps
Marcos lines to a minimum. This does not seem real to jive
Vince Papale, a man of very high energy who always has something to say.
On the other hand, Greg Kinnear does a GREAT version of Dick Vermeil. Dick
He really nailed to the personality and manners.

The best part of the film are the images. The film does a great job
Philadelphia recreate life in 1976, it was like being an eagle
fan in the 70's and 1970's NFL life before the mega-million contracts
Cushy and changing rooms with all amenities imaginable. These aspects of
The film, I enjoyed thoroughly.

However, there were a couple notable absence in this recreation.
There is no mention at all of 1976, Bicentennial of the film. This
was pretty big because it loses all the city was enveloped in
Celebration. Another thing that baffles me is the "evils us" attitude
Phiilly the fans of the film. This really is not the case in
Philadelophia at the time. Yes, the Eagles were bad, but the Phillies
Done playoffs that year, the Sixers went to the NBA Finals, behind
Dr. J, and the Flyers had just won two Stanley Cups. While I am in the image of
Philly fans, some of which was a little over the top.
When the Eagles lost by several touchdowns late in the game,
The whole world is not kept hidden, "and certainly do not represent a threat to other
Fans to stay. I laughed at most of it, because I knew it was more
Cartoon of real life. But I know that there are people out there who think Philly
Thats what really fanatics. From me to you, it is more myth
Indeed.

Overall, I am giving the film 7 out of 10. But if it was a Giant
Vince Papale, to be given only 6 out of 10.
Not just for Philadelphia Eagles fans, but for all sports fans who love
Lower great story. Upon seeing this film, I was transported back to
streets of the gritty South Philly in 1976, watching the impossible dream
deployed for a guy down on his luck, but determined to change his life
with his love for soccer - and his favorite team, the Eagles
. Mark Wahlberg did an excellent job playing the unlikely hero
Vince Papale. The supporting cast is also very good, with a great twist
By Elizabeth Banks, who believes in the dream of Vince
that in the NFL. This shows that with hard work and determination, anything is possible
. A movie for the whole family to enjoy!
