Things get a little awkward when Harry suffers a heart attack at the home of Marin's mother Erica (Keaton). Left in the care of Erica and his doctor (Reeves), a love triangle starts to take shape.

This film took me by surprise, I was not sure if he could handle watching old
Getting actors of this film, but it turned out to be a great
Romantic Comedy. Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton always give their 100% in
their best performances, they did a great job in their roles. It would have been nice
To see more input from Frances McDormand and Keanu Reeves, but otherwise
I really enjoyed the film.
Of the many things that I like to go to the movies there are two
experiences that always stand out more than others. The first will

Something's Gotta Give falls squarely into the second category.
Sometimes when are legendary stars joined in a film, the result is often
Less than passable. Not so with this movie, thanks to an ingenious script marked -
AND direction of Nancy Meyers, two big stars Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson
wonderfully together who click on the screen and an excellent
Issued, which includes support for Keanu Reeves, Amanda Peet and Frances McDormand
. This is a fun romantic comedy that is when it has to be
Perspicaz when it needs to be, and filled with many
sincere and touching moments.
Harry Sanborn (Nicholson), the playboy older who had spent his entire life avoiding
serious commitments, is to spend the weekend with his time
Taste of the bride, Marin (Amanda Peet), in a beach house owned
For the mother of Marin. Unfortunately for Harry and Marin, the mother of Marin,
Erica Barry (Diane Keaton), a famous playwright, shows up for the weekend
also with her sister Zoe (Frances McDormand). Of course not too Erica
Knowing how to deal with the fact that his daughter is dating and possibly
Sleeping with a man of the reputation of Harry and age leads to some very funny dialogue between
Harry, Erica and Zoe mounds that ring of truth. It is these
Early scenes in the film that set the pace, it catches your attention, then
never lets you go. Later, when you begin to do so with Marin, Harry
suffers a heart attack. Now I know having a heart attack
not supposed to be especially fun, but here is some of the many many hilarious scenes
rock that over Something Gotta Give. When Harry is carried
The hospital, we met Dr. Julian Mercer (Keanu Reeves), who becomes a

Of course, the plot manipulations, being what they are, Harry ends recovering
Erica alone in the house on the beach. Everything that happens from that point
says everything about love, aging and, above all, how men and women are

I can not say enough about Diane Keaton's performance in this movie. For
All dramatic roles he has played, it shows once again how truly
Versatile that is playing with the same role yet truly comical.
Jack Nicholson as Harry Sanborn, is equally perfect as well. He manages to take
character that we must absolutely loathe for his behavior and make him shallow
Likable, but not only gives depth as well. It was perhaps his best role
comic ever. Keanu Reeves in a less showy role, shines as the young
Doctor. We believe in his sincere admiration for Erica and achieves
Pull it out by us believe that this is not just a child from school crush type.
For a few brief moments, but very funny, Frances McDormand
also deserves our praise.
Nancy Meyers has shown great promise as a director with the OK of efforts
The father and the trap of what women want. As a writer who has had some fine moments with
Irreconcilable differences, Baby Boom and Father of the Bride.
Something's Gotta Give, which puts the pieces of the puzzle together to
Some first class entertainment. You will not be disappointed.
