Ben Sobol, Psychiatrist, has a few problems: His son spies on his patients when they open up their heart, his parents don't want to attend his upcoming wedding and his patients' problems don't challenge him at all. Paul Vitti, Godfather, has a few problems as well: Sudden anxiety attacks in public, a certain disability to kill people and his best part ceasing service when needed. One day, Ben unfortunately crashes into one of Vitti's cars. The exchange of Ben's business card is followed by a business visit of Don Paul Vitti himself, who wants to be free of inner conflict within two weeks, before all the Mafia Dons meet. Now, Ben Sobol feels somewhat challenged, as his wedding is soon, his only patient keeps him busy by regarding Ben's duty as a 24 hour standby and the feds keep forcing him to spy on Paul Vitti. And how do you treat a patient who usually solves problems with a gun?

Robert De Niro is one of the best sides in Hollywood. And by that I mean
than a simple facial contortion can send the audience into a fit of laughter
, or send a chill in your spine. In "Taxi Driver", his diabolical,
wide-toothed smile portrays a sense of fascination and pleasure -
his character is bombarded with images that made him feel happy, and
almost hysterical, in a strange sort of way. When they stared
mirror and asked who was talkin ', he smiled because he was sick and
liked the idea of having control, and enjoy
Picturing the final result.

In "Analyze This," when Billy Crystal looks at his iconic "
Who you talkin '? "glare, is not pleasure, but because of the huge surprise.
In short, he is asking everyone in the room (and public) if he is the only thing
to see what happens, and the complete absurdity of it all.
watching De Niro's face to "Analyze This", and listen to speeches that accompany
comedian, is the pure pleasure of the film.
Stealing the show.

Paul Vitti (De Niro) is having problems. Ultima has not been able to work
of willpower enough to kill the hostages, get an erection, and was found crying by
forty minutes after seeing ads on television
bittersweet. Normally, this might be considered normal (for the most part, to
less), but the problem is that Vitti is a Mob Boss in New York City,
that if he can not achieve by force enough to carry out his duties, word of their weaknesses
travel, and soon found himself
sleeping with the fishes.

Ben Sobel (Crystal) is a frustrated, failing psychologist
trying to raise a child on their own, and maintain a relationship with his girlfriend (Lisa Kudrow)
apart from the fall. Where is destroyed in the rear of the car Vitti, the Mafia angle
's right hand man, based gelatin (the late Joe Viterelli), asks him to help
of his employer.

Sobel is, of course, quite reluctant to begin practice in New York
most infamous mob figure, but it does so reluctantly after having been threatened. ( "You
know who I am?" "Yes." "No not." "No I do not." Have you read about me
in the newspapers? "" Yes. "No you do not." I did not even get the
document. ")

Meanwhile, a meeting of all the powerful mafia figures New York
looms ominously closer, Sobel and is headed by the FBI,
as well as professional hit men who are being thrown outside the hotel
Windows by Vitti. "Let me guess, just jumped?" Sobel asks. Vitti
is anxious to use this as an explanation for the incident.

"Analyze This" is directed by Harold Ramis, the man who made "
Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray, who also played Murray's best friend Ivan Reitman
"Stripes" (1981), about two idiots who join the Army in search of
women and fast cash. Here, in what is literally one of its roughest and
filthiest movies, Ramis is able to lean out fun at all
most iconic stereotypes of Italian-American Mafia figures. There's even a great dream sequence that mimics
"The Godfather" in which Sobel wanders into a fruit stand
to buy some oranges, and is murdered by two men concerned,
with De Niro doing his best impersonation of cry-baby Fredo. Later, when
recounting his story to Vitti in a church, the Mafia angle asks, "I was
Fredo? I do not think so. "It

find much appreciates" Analyze This "if
familiar with its contents. It may not be labelled as such but in its essence
this is a travesty of the last century the best movies of gangsters, their loan
plot of "The Don's Analyst" and enjoyed a wonderful and surprising (and
humorous) performance from De Niro, which stretched its funny bone with Martin Scorsese
"The King of Comedy" and Neil Jordan's "We're No Angels", but
Masters of the feat effective facial features. It certainly helps
know a little about the Mafia movies before you see "Analyze This," but even if
No, you're still assured of having a fun time.

The charm of this film is in the concept and perfect cast. Robert De Niro
satirized his past performances as a mafia boss. And as Billy Crystal
the unconscious psychiatrist who becomes involved in the mess. It's really fun and entertaining
. The film benefits from the majority of very good direction
Harold Ramis and the excellent performance of the players and not just
De Niro and Crystal.

The verdict: 4 out of 5 stars.
