In a small Minnesota town, the annual beauty pageant is being covered by a TV crew. Former winner Gladys Leeman wants to make sure her daughter follows in her footsteps. Explosions, falling lights, and trailer fires prove that. As the Leemans are the richest family in town the police are pretty relaxed about it all. Despite everything, main rival (but nice) Amber Atkins won't be stopped. There could well be more death and disappointment to come.

Ellen Barkin is the trailer trash mother Amber (Kirsten Dunst),
Kirstie Alley is the homicidally ambitious mother of Becky (Denise Richards
) a rich bitch damaged. They will stop at nothing to ensure that their daughters
win the Monte Rosa beauty, and I mean nothing.
entire film is made in incredibly bad taste and for that reason alone
a lot of people who hate, but I found it very refreshing to see a
black comedy of this quality a change. It is wonderfully
script and direction, and the cast is simply perfect, the whole world that
seems to be relishing the humor in the film and it shows in his performances
.
If you like this kind of humor, loves this, if not hot
a black comedy then it is best left alone.

I never expected to enjoy this movie. In fact, I thought I was going to
hatred. "thematic beauty, chicken film comedy", right? Katunggakan
jokes about hair, clothes, and things I could not care less about, right?
Wrong. It is presented in false-documentary (or mockumentary)
style that Christopher Guest has perfected. It pokes fun at half americas,
small towns, this type of "patriotism redneckish" we see so often, and
of course, how these contestants (and their parents) take themselves < br> way too seriously. He also shines as most women comic sandbox
when Allison Janney, Ellen Barkin, Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Murphy, and Kirstie Allie
can display their comic skills (I had no idea that some of them
took them). All I can say is that it is hilarious.
Will Sasso is the largest "Handi-capable" character ever put on film. His
"Cheerleading" as Kirsten Dunst spells all states in alphabetical order
is comedy gold. If you do not laugh ... you're dead inside.
