Dorian Shanley (Kirk Harris), is a heart surgeon who abuses alcohol and drugs. Dorian trades stolen pharmaceuticals for cocaine , provided by his best friend and enabler, Teddy (Eric Roberts). While Dorian's life and career take a nosedive, Shanley numbs the pain of losing his father, William Shanley (John Savage), to a form of alzhiemer's common in prizefighters. To further complicate circumstances, Dorian falls in love with his girlfriend's best friend from college, Anna (Camila Overbye Roos). The film follows Shanley through a maze of pharmacies, clubs and binges and surgeries, into the heart of drug abuse.

A selfish, totally despicable heart surgeon doing everything possible
His power to ruin his life and wounding two women who are

I got sucked into watching this crud by other reviewers here at
IMDb. I have since found their displacement history, and none of them have much depth

I can only guess that this is the same hypesters at work that gave this execrable piece
brilliant dreck such comments. --
Do not bother to see the film. The trailer is the best part. The rest
is only part of stuffing and bar scenes and little dialogue. Even
Molestan turn because most of the subtitles of the dialogue is just "heh
Baby" or "heh beloved."
The only suspense of this movie is wondering whether Dr Shanley
has a cleaning service. There was vomit in bed with him when he went to the
ER. When he returned home from the rumpled bed linens are the same but the
Vomiting was gone.
The film could have been condensed to 30 minutes less. I suppose
This is not the worst movie I have seen - since I did stay with her until
Final, but is rather low.
