Gene Watson (Johnny Depp) is an ordinary public accountant returning home from his ex-wife's funeral and is met by Mr Smith (Christopher Walken) and Ms. Jones (Roma Maffia) who kidnap his daughter (Courtney Chase) and give him a gun, six bullets, a name-tag that will give him access to anywhere in a specific hotel, and the itinerary of Governor Grant (Marsha Mason) and is informed that he must kill the Governor in 1 hour and 15 minutes or his daughter will die. The rest of the movie follows Mr. Watson as he desperately attempts to warn the Governor without the knowledge of the two and finds out that the conspiracy against her reaches all the way to those she trusts most.

I read a lot of poor reviews for this film. I do not understand. The
forward is very good, is not a movie 5 stars, but is still good.
Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood) stars as a means
guy whose wife has recently died. One day on the way home, Depp and his daughter are
abducted by two people, one of them is Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter
, The Dead Zone). We say that her daughter will die if
does not kill a specific person. It soon discovered that this person is
Governor of their state. They give him a gun and tell him that if she did not
dead for a while her daughter is dead. This is a great premise for a movie thriller
and performed very well. The great Charles S. Dutton
(Rudy, imitate)-Shiner plays a shoe that helps Depp. Depp is solid as the
father in a role that is somewhat different from a lot of its previous functions. The
Walken is always excellent, as always, impressive as the bad guy, a role
I always love to see him in The film keeps you in operation, offering a couple of nice twists
. Ignore the reviews and rent this movie.
A young accountant Gene Wilson (Johnny Deep) arrived in LA

arrived, two mysterious strangers (Oscar-Winner: Christopher Walken and
Roma Maffia) will apart from her daughter. One of them proposes Gene
to assassinate a government official (Marsha Mason) or otherwise, they
the murder of his daughter.

Directed by John Badham (The Hard Way, Short Circuit, Stakeout)
made an entertaining, intelligent if barely credible.
suspense thriller that was filmed in "real time". That does not always paid off, especially
director uses a multitude of close-up watch. What makes this movie
sometimes claustrophobic, but not enough. This was a major box office flops
and critical disappointments of 1995. But the image
is surprising that plays better on video and went on to have a kind of cult
after years later.

DVD is a fine anamórfico widescreen (1.78:1) and a transfer
good Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD's only extra is the theatrical trailer
. What makes this movie watchable is an imperfect game
cast, fun sometimes dark sense of humor and good
moments of real suspense. But sometimes, the film falls apart almost from the moment
unlikely fake plot near the third act and an unsatisfactory conclusion
. Despite all this, this is an image that directs
certainly worth seeing this truly heterogeneous real movie. Written by Patrick
