Whatever the ethnicity of the wedding party—Jewish, Italian, Irish, Chinese, Hindu—the charismatic and charming duo always have clever back stories for inquisitive guests and inevitably become the hit of every reception, where they strictly adhere to their proven rules of wedding crashing to meet and pick up women aroused by the very thought of marriage. At the tail end of another successful season of toasting brides and grooms, Jeremy learns that the daughter of Treasury Secretary William Cleary and his wife, Kathleen, is getting married in what is sure to be the Washington D.C. social event of the year. After infiltrating the lavish affair, John and Jeremy quickly set their sights on two bridesmaids, Claire and Gloria Cleary. With the lavish reception in full swing, Jeremy works his game plan to perfection in seducing Gloria, but John's flirtation banter with Claire is unexpectedly impeded by her pompous, Ivy League boyfriend Sack. Having uncharacteristically fallen hard and fast for Claire, John convinces a resistant Jeremy to bend the crashing rules and accept an invitation to an extended weekend party at the Cleary family compound. Once at the palatial waterfront estate, John and Jeremy endure a multitude of comical mishaps at the hands of the dysfunctional members of the Cleary family, but also learn a few unexpected lessons about love and relationships.

This could have been a film of friends shocking, but writing,
Comedy performances and simple concept, make this my favorite
The comedy of the year.

Wedding crashing has rules, handed down from one generation to the next

", "Dance like you mean it", "Free drinks, why not? "" If

This is my favorite comedy of the year so far.
John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey are committed bachelors who enjoy their
Womanising ways. They specialize in wedding crashing and collecting
night for women are taking advantage of their lower defenses. Countless
results of the women later, John is tired, but the supply of
"one last big job" tempts him back to the wedding accident
Treasury Secretary Cleary's daughter. Things are going well until John falls for Claire Cleary
while Jeremy is trapped with the terribly clingy Gloria
as the pair accept an invitation to retreat weekend
Cleary family.

This does not seem strong enough to draw me into the movies in his
Liberation, but in a transatlantic flight appeared to be good
Enough to fill a time -- which actually is a good synthesis of
The film's strengths and weaknesses. I say this because it's fun
Enough to cover the problems faced, and thus serve as a
pleasant experience if you are relaxed enough to allow that to happen. The
Strengths lie in the front two characters - jokes, which are animated
And it is fun. Funny enough to cover up the fact that they are
exploitation and sexual predators and amusing enough in the sense that the
scenes in which they are realized things are generally pleasant.
Of course it helps that Wilson and Vaughn are both doing their thing as
And usually have a great chemistry together - good news if you normally
Like them, but if not does, so why bother? The weaknesses come in
the real history because, every time someone has to fall in love with someone else
, stop laughs, slows the pace and the whole thing
Mushy acquires an air that does not gel well with the scenes jokes.
Similarly, the plot devices in the second hour I tend to be a little
Forced where it is only used to provide the leadership and to create a suitable ending

. The supporting cast share comedy reasonably well;
McAdams is fresh and attractive, Fisher is a bit OTT, but it is fun, playing in Seymour
His sexy image really well while Walken is as reliable as ever

Overall this is an enjoyable if uneven comedy. It is usual in trade
Delivery and the chemistry between Wilson and Vaughn, and the two do well
Produce the best scenes of the film when they are together. The need for a
Plot, romance and separation hurts a bit of the film (
because it is not as good as the aimless jokes), but not a massive amount. Then
This is not a great comedy, but certainly enough to please anyone who liked
Announcer, Dodgeball and other movies similar styles of humor.
