The teenage DJ is observing his neighbor Nebbercracker on the other side of their street in the suburb that destroys tricycles of children that trespass his lawn. When DJ's parents travel on the eve of Halloween and the abusive nanny Zee stays with him, he calls his clumsy best friend Chowder to play basketball. But when the ball falls in Nebbercracker's lawn, the old man has a siege, and sooner they find that the house is a monster. Later the boys rescue the smart Jenny from the house and the trio unsuccessfully tries to convince the babysitter, her boyfriend Bones and two police officers that the haunted house is a monster, but nobody believes on them. The teenagers ask their video-game addicted acquaintance Skull how to destroy the house, and they disclose its secret on the Halloween night.

I just see this movie at the Seattle International Film Festival.
I did not know what to expect, but I must say that I found quite pleasant.
There is much talk before the movie. People were saying that
will be too scared for children, adults, but not enough to capture
care for older children.

I see that is quite frightening sometimes, for smaller, but
of children in the theater is not like I have heard none of them shouting
Mom. I do not know how well the film is going to do with children, but a
adult perspective, its definitely worth seeing.

The best part of the film definitely has to be the characters. Each
were very well thought out and as a whole.
They did a fantastic job of matching voices right with the right characters. Personality
facial expressions were amazing. You'll find things to laugh
to say and do much.

The animation is very good. They are certainly not innovative. But
conform to the film. However, I must say that some scenes expected
quite impressive.

If you are looking for a fun, clean movie with lots of laughter and
chuckle, this is definitely one you do not want to miss!
Monster House is a perfect combination of friendship for children, horror,
action and adventure. When I first walked into the theater I thought it would be
"Kiddy" because I went to see it with my younger cousin.
You know how most animated movies are fun and teamwork and working together
or teaches lessons of life or morals but I actually came from
to find that this film is more comic that fear or ethical. I
actually entering it. I actually ended up liking it more than my cousin
. Some of the content is for older children but is not
action and stop the momentum of history never stops. And the characters seem so real
. 2 thumbs up. Definitely recommend it.
