Contract Killer (Sat sau chi Wong) has dynamite action scenes, but
are too few and scattered. Jet Li is associated with a guy that
swear, could pass for John Belushi long lost Chinese half-brother.
The dubbing is ridiculous in the version I bought. He discovered that there is a version
better known as Hit-man who is also
six minutes longer. Anyway, and the little fat guy still sounds like Belushi and is the
Comic Relief as with men. Jet Li is a wannabe hit-man and
not know the first thing about it even though it starts the ass like crazy. A Japanese
mobster is murdered by the "King of murderers" and his family a pony
reward of one hundred million dollars. Jet character, Fu, and
"Norman", the type of fat, with your way through the competition and chaos
occurs. The so-called comedy is pretty lame but there are some good jokes
. The action, as I said is terrible and intense. The Japanese
employ a high, white boy as a body guard / murderer he is evil and wrong.
has a neat trick with tiny, high-intensity flashlights (laser?)
disguised as rings and the toes of their shoes that used to temporarily blind
its opponents so you can beat the bejesus out of them.
There is a strange scenario where the grandson of the murdered Mr.Big eats some
high pa's ashes. I think it was to win its strength, or something
well. Anyway, it is strange and different, it's a good thing.
I do not know who does the English voice credits these films, but
should include a list of people to credit because it is their hard work
that is heard in the banda sound. Thus, for good martial arts ass kickery,
this movie offers. You will need to "move quickly" through the stupid things

Jet Li (Hero, Black Mask etc.) and Eric Tsang (Infernal Affairs) star in this thread
fu action film with an identity crisis. Start
kind of Jackie Chan territory with much humor with a
Li bumbling incompetent hit-man Tsang and a small-time thief
involved in a multi-million dollar 'hit'. As the movie goes on all the moments of comedy and
forget we begin to move into a serious action movie
participation of a little more weapon that the usual set of Jet Li movies, in fact,
comes to be at times like a cross between a film by John Woo and Jet Li
heroic bloodshed type affair.

The action sequences are all the expected high level of Jet with
added some gun play sequences. Li is very likable in the lead role and
Tsang is very good in his role Sidekick showing a different person to
its performance in Infernal Affairs.

Overall a good hong kong action film, but the differences in styles sometimes clash
