Download Movie Sidewalks of New YorkSix New Yorkers have an interrelated series of relationships. TV producer Tommy, who's just broken up with his girlfriend, has a short relationship with commitment-phobe Maria, who he meets in a video store, and also hooks up with married real-estate agent Annie, who he meets while apartment hunting. Annie is open to a relationship because her husband, Griffin, is cheating on her, which she slowly comes to realize through talking to her friend/co-worker who's gone through the same thing. Griffin, a 39-year-old dentist, is cheating with 19-year-old waitress Ashley, who he picked up in a park; she realizes she can do better when Ben, a hotel doorman and aspiring musician, tries to pick her up, in a belated attempt to recover from his divorce a year ago from schoolteacher Maria (the same Maria from the video store). Most of these relationships seem driven more by a desperate need to be in a relationship than actual love.

It is worth seeing! It's fun, romantic, and a good script -
New York City dating back to the game and its location in the streets of New York, high fashion
Actors and Actresses and Ed Burns' s words and acted only
Super! I love the documentary style and narration, 6 people in the city
in these interconnected relationships, very captivating,
photography background are great with natural lighting in the city, and of course the
banda soundtrack of the film fits very well. I watched this movie
often, the reasons are that the story is very interesting. The
interaction between the various characters in their ingenious ways, and also
the great acting by all actors in this movie, of course, the handsome
Ed Burns, the beautiful Bittany Murphy are the main actors.
In one scene, when Ed was having dinner with his date on the film with
background music of a lush life - for example a romantic melody Jazz!
"The Sidewalks of New York" feels like a retread of Ed Burns earlier works.
Once again we have a lot of mixed couples who do nothing but talk and talk obsessed
talk about personal relationships and their insecurities
with them. When I first saw "The Brothers McMullen," I was surprised how they
involved in the story was. But this story (as was also the case with "
She's the One") seems too similar to "McMullen. "Things that are forgivable
in this film are increasingly tired and distractive: The whole world is meeting at a
classic" cute "form of the golden era of cinema. Everyone is coincidence
runs on each other at the time most convenient. Most of the characters
are forgettable, and their relations are not very credible.
The film is not very fun, and most of the jokes not run. The film also
not live up to its title in New York that were fired by more than passionate,
unflattering way - it's better not appear on any list of best films representing
to New York. Burns puts a lot of confidence in improvisation, apparently
telling his players to just "roll with it." But he seems to feel that
realism and improvisation can replace substance, and this is not
is true - many of the actors rant and blurt out the lines that do not feel genuine,
almost bound by improvisation, when Burns should have just yelled "cut" and made a
resume. The fake "interview" moments when the fictional characters
speak to the camera, reacting to something Offscreen, or ask if
must "start over" discard equally unnatural.
Executions are soft for the most part, except Dennis Farina. Heather Graham goes
particularly bad in a moment I thought that even its fight against captured a smile, ready to
bust of laughter during a "serious" scene.

Once again, we have a self-hatred, self older male obsessed jerk who has a
affair behind his wife insecure back, we have an idealistic young boy who
Romance of a girl with immediate pledges of love and marriage, and once again
Ed Burns have found someone by fighting over a material object - in
"McMullen" is an apartment, "The sidewalks," this is a copy of "Breakfast at Tiffany's
."

Not that I hate this movie, its just that I see a lack of passion in
. It's almost as if Ed Burns lack confidence in their ability to spend, and
that leaves us with a total of mediocrity. Grade: C --
