If you're a fan of Tenacious D, or a stoner, likes at all
"The Collection of Destiny". If you're not likely to be
confused, annoyed or bored. Ticket sales for the film will not be much,
concession stand, but sales will be at an all-time high (no pun intended
). I will admit, I absolutely loved the film. It is a surreal,
useless, and hilarious movie detailing the (fictional)
banda origins of Tenacious D. The best way to determine whether
this movie is for you is to watch an episode of the HBO series. If you like what you see
that insofar as you'd like to sit across the sample
for ninety minutes, to make sure this film. Its refreshing to see a movie with general
intentions not to appeal to a wide audience.
Its difficult to make an assessment of a non-linear film, so
only mention some of my favorite scenes. The opening explaining the
JB had pain in your home is the most fun of the whole film. The rest
not live up to that impressive opening sequence, but not his fine. The trip
mushrooms with Sasquatch is surreal and disorienting. The
JB training to become a great rock musician, KG is too big.
Finally, to see some amusing cameos by Tim Robbins, Ben Stiller, Meat Loaf and
. After all, Tenacious D are probably best enjoyed in
half hour episodes, but fans of the show is much to enjoy here.
definitely not for everyone, but one of the funniest movies of the year.

I saw the MTV premiere of this movie last night and I needed
to tell everyone that this movie brought the thunder. Obviously, this
the film will be most enjoyed by fans of the D because it has a lot of
in-jokes for those who have seen the HBO series and has more than enough to
D new fans and the mass suddenly to be converted. The music
really shines with new songs "Kickapoo" (which is much better than what it sounds
), "Master Exploder" (possibly the 3 rd best song in the world) and
" ; Dude (I totally miss). " There are a lot of excellent scenes
(the car persecution, the rock-off at the meeting) and cameos (including
Dave Grohl as Satan!). I really could go on for hours, but I do not want
give the movie away. Go see. You will not be disappointed.
