1878 in New Mexico: John Tunstall picks up young gun men from the road to have them work on his ranch, but also to teach them reading and to civilize them. However he's a thorn in the side of the rich rancher Murphy, as he's a competitor in selling cattle. One day he's shot by Murphy's men. Judge Wilson can't do anything, since Sheriff Brady is one of Murphy's men. But attorney Alex persuades him to constitute Tunstall's young friends to Deputies and give them warrants of arrest for the murderers. Instead of arresting them, William Bonney just shoots them down. Soon the 5 guys become famous and William gets the name "Billie the Kid" - but they're also chased by dozens of Murphy's men and the army. The people however honor him as fighter for justice.

Young Guns is one of the only Hollywood westerns made during the 1980's, when
sits beside the solitarily like Pale Rider and
Silverado. At this time, the general public perception is that
West has nothing new to offer. However, in this bloody and
quick count of Billy the Kid legend, the script-writer John Fusco
and director Christopher Cain manage to find new angles. For
populating his film with hot young talent, and then cranking up the
levels of violence-as well as some modern retread of The Wild Bunch and
underlining the film with a pulsating rock banda sonora,
manufacturers have found a reasonably effective way to breathe fresh life into a tired old story
.

idealistic rancher John Tunstall (Terence Stamp) harbors a plan to recruit
the wild and reckless youth of Wild West to work on his ranch
Nebraska. By showing them the care and patience than ever
knows, apparently soon be undesirable these young people to become
conscientious and hard-working ranch hands, and even provides them with basic education
enough to read and write. The plan falls apart when a rancher
rival, Lawrence G. Murphy (Jack Palance), hires a banda
desperadoes killing Tunstall. After his death, the couple Tunstall
workers are determined to avenge his mentor. Initially focused on gaining his revenge
legally, dedicated to work as deputies to
nail those responsible for his murder. But his approach to working
shows how violent and trigger-happy they are quickly
branded as outlaws. Under the leadership of the hottest head
their number William Bonney (Emilio Estevez), young people leaving a trail of corpses
in the west, as a follow-up to his enemies. Soon
Bonney earns the nickname Billy the Kid, and he and his banda of "
Young Guns" become the most feared around gunslingers, hunted by law and the lawless by
alike.

Young Guns helped launch a number of careers.
Estevez had already made some decent movies before it (Repo Man, The Breakfast Club
Stakeout and come to mind), but this was the first time that
was an opportunity to grab a role his throat. Among the many other
making a name for themselves are the likes of Kiefer Sutherland,
Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulrooney
and Casey Siemaszko. Meanwhile, seasoned old pros like Stamp and Palance
provide the kind of support from experts who have done throughout your career. While
shock and rock Result Brat-pack casting
could cause headaches among purists West, which makes the animated film and
energy. The shootouts increasingly stylized as the film is basa
his blood-spraying conclusion. This style might be put off
for some, but for others adds to the film's sense of confidence,
over-the-top enjoyment. Young Guns is a very successful action movie
that definitely puts the "wild" back in "west".
With a cast of six major players (especially the three mentioned above)
you know you can not go wrong. Estevez was powerful and a dead ringer for
Billy the Kid. It was fast, furious and he takes you on a journey of wild
time it hits the screen (top). His character does not really sit still for a second
and his sharp wit and devilish humor masked
are well below their thirst for revenge and blood. I also think that had a
need for power and it was so intertwined with other facets of
character. Phillps was really incredible as the spiritual leader of the team,
who had a serious bone to pick. I really saw real talent being carried out in
scenes in which he painted his face black and guides others in a
spiritual path. Also eminates especially this talent in the finals
where he talks about the attack on his family. However, I think the best performance of container
will Casey Siemaszko's Charlie Bowdre. Nearly
innocent, laid back character at the beginning, you can see each of its layers
Appeal away until you see an impressive sequence of emotions. To go from a good humored
farm hand, a single guard, a newly married to a soldier
justice, and then, finally, in the end give all you have to get some
Justice. Amazing. It is a shame that is not more recognized in the eyes of Hollywood
today. 8.5 out of 10.
