Since a road accident left him with serious facial and bodily scarring, a former 'TV scientist' has become obsessed by the marriage of motor car technology with what he sees as the 'raw sexuality' of car-crash victims. The scientist, along with a crash victim he has recently befriended, sets about performing a series of sexual acts in a variety of motor vehicles, either with other crash victims or with prostitutes who they contort into the shape of trapped-corpses. Ultimately, the scientist craves a suicidal union of blood, semen and engine coolant, a union with which he becomes dangerously obsessed.

I agree with what many others have said about the shallow and offensive
character of this movie review conducted by the same racism.
It is disconcerting to me that so many people seem to have been deceived by his
pretentiousness. I want to comment on the character Matt Dillon as an example of what
more exasperating for this movie. Here is a man who
- contrasts with the film's underlying message that "we're all a little
racist" - effectively rape of a woman in public, cruelly humiliate her husband
and deliberately goading him to make a move
that, as he well knows, will lead to his arrest or even death. What makes all this
after throwing more than the couple without any legal grounds, but
because, as we have come to understand, which are black and rich and he is
injured a toddler who is Now the police and, therefore, can do what it pleases
. This behavior is not a little racist. This behavior is bad.
It was disturbing to me that this extreme racism is being held alongside
another character's behavior - its spouting paranoid about stereotypes
gang violence - to illustrate that everyone is a little racist . Later,
we are spoon-fed some calluses Dillon about the poor dad and how
black people led him to house the poor. Is this supposed to explain,
or worse, excuse this behavior? And it is the character of Dillon
to redeem himself from committing the unmotivated and totally incredible,
laughably coincidence act to save the woman had sexually assaulted
the same night before? Please. The fact that so many people seem
feel some sort of self-congratulation admiration for this film
makes me feel sad about the superficiality of our understanding of racism, and our
apparent lack of commitment to condemn and put end.
In a drama reminiscent markedly in style and tone of the film
PT Anderson's Magnolia (1999), the narrative shifts in Crash between 5 or 6
different groups of seemingly disconnected characters, whose
Relationships with each other, only revealed at the end.

Not to be confused with the role of David Cronenberg of the same name,
Crash this is the feature film, study published
directorial debut of TV veteran Canadian writer / producer / director and twice Emmy winner -
Paul Haggis. At a deeper exploration on the themes of racism and prejudice
, cause and effect, and random chance, and tragedy,
"accident" is a metaphor of collisions between strangers in the
Course of everyday existence. Set over a 24-hour period in contemporary LA
, is a social commentary on interconnection
of life in the big city.

Crash has a first-class cast package that includes:
Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, Brendan Fraser,
Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Loretta Devine , Thandie Newton, Ryan Phillipe
and Larenz Tate. All put in superb performances on strict
script that is both gritty, heart, surprising, amusing and tragic, and that
will ring true with viewers of all demographic groups.

disturbing Centering around two car accidents, a carjacking, vicious
workplace vandalism, and the suspicious shooting death of a policeman
by another official, the drama is as part of a racist LAPD
Los Angeles and justice system. Action shifts between different
characters whose lives collide with each other in unpredictable ways
as each faces its own moral dilemma, and tries to cope with the
consequences resulting from his decision or action taken . Each of the
dozen main characters undergo some sort of personal metamorphosis
various story lines as the head toward a surprising conclusion
common, what happens at once disturbing and cathartic.

Crash is backed by a solid and varied, original and banda sonora
excellent cinematography. Barr, generally alternate with shots
disjointed camera angles to convey the chaos and confusion of
characters and the unpredictability of life. Occasional persistent
close-ups - sometimes without sound - capture the actors' facial expressions
, which conveniently detail key moments of the characters "
aching pain, fear, anger, bitter anguish, pain or remorse,
much better than any dialogue.

This impressive film is destined to be a critical and box office smash
affected. Five stars.
