Morgan Adams (Geena Davis) and her slave, William Shaw (Matthew Modine), are on a quest to recover the three portions of a treasure map. Unfortunately, the final portion is held by her murderous uncle, Dawg (Frank Langella). Her crew is sceptical of her leadership abilities, so she must complete her quest before they mutiny against her. This is made yet more difficult by the efforts of the British crown to end her piratical raids.

I was pleased to see all the good things that other users have had to say about
this super-charged action pirate adventure.From the moment they are introduced to the character

set out two hours of rollicking good entertainment and a film that was inexplicably

Renny Harlin did go over the top in this sense, but when what is
watching on the screen is as exciting as this that cares.Frank Langella made an excellent villain and their

second lead, but strove visibly. "Cutthroat Island" rightfully belongs to

thing however, fail to see how anyone can call Geena Davis a beautiful woman
In fact it is positively ugly here.For a real beautiful female swordfighter
leave before Maureen O'Hara in 1952 the "sword in point" ( "Sons of
THE Musketeers" UK). Ignore nit-picking critics, navigate to "
Cutthroat Island" and join Adams Morgan in his daring adventure.
Cutthroat Island is a film that can only sit, relax and see that
ridiculous with a large smile on his face. Obviously, what Tank at the box office, but
not ignoring it completely. It's fun as hell. Geena Davis is quite
participation as a female pirate and Frank Langella
seemed to be enjoying himself. Most people will say that this film can not hold a candle to
Errol Flynn pirate movie, and you're right. But for a rock em sock em
pirate adventure with more explosions ever seen the high seas, see
Cutthroat Island.
