This film is cheap, cheap under the characteristics of life of people and fired into a
entirely unpleasant, depressing landscape (around Essex and the Thames estuary,
in particular the area of Dartford Bridge). Moreover, it is about drugs and
dealers, especially for the youth market. However, it is interesting
monitor,
probably due to a very convincing performance from Sean Bean as repugnant
Jason.
Sean Bean is usually quite mild type of character (Sharpe, Bond movies,
etc.), however, is repugnant and convincing in this movie. Plays a good
London / Essex accent (bearing in mind that Sheffield is) accompanied by tons of
evil, sadistic violence.
I've just seen this video, and then have read the reviews and I am stunned. Will I
seeing another film? Of course the characters are shaded, but what
expect, Scorsese-esque, Soprano-ish sympathetic lots? This is the

Darwinion underworld and has a story about how Billy (
more cerebral character physically minutes) retreated slowly in the intestines of
greed and the acrimony.
The action is intense and uncompromising. Alex Kingston is wonderful and
the actor who played Billy was smart. Certainly not
Academy Award, but interesting, however, fodder. A mixture of
Sexy Beast and Goodfellas.
