Before entering the theater, I never glanced at any of the "
Lemony Snicket" books. I had never heard of them. Having seen the film,
I will give priority to have a look. The film has a strong "Harry Potter
" feel, bringing the heroic, to put a lot of British children, and the
fantastic. If J.K. Rowling had cast as Lord Voldemort
infamous villain out to steal the family fortune Potter, Ron and Hermione and Harry
's brothers, I imagine that something like this

Count Olaf, one of the most despicable villains to grace the silver screen
at a time. The four children are all superb players, especially the very attractive
Emily Browning as the inventor, Violet. The film comes
with a wonderfully disturbing climax, pleasure and a happy epilogue
suggestions that future misery for many children Baudelaire.
I will be there. 9 / 10.
The film is decent. I have enjoyed, no doubt. Technically
is pending. Casting was good, provides outstanding
costumes were very nice.

As an adaptation of the books, however, this was horrible.
It was as if the writer had torn a quarter of pages of the first three
books, a few pages of books 4-9, and paste together in a random fashion
to try to create a film coherent. Now, I had not read the books
, I would have enjoyed this great movie, so you have to give
that they, but as a fan, is just a slap in the face.

If you have read books, do not see the movie, just enraged.
If not already done so, seeing the film. It will be very pleasant. However, if you decide to
read books later, be aware that
are far darker than the film shows, and the mystery is certainly deeper than some
magnifying glass in Count Olaf the house. Do not think of them as
