McMurphy, a man with several assault convictions to his name, finds himself in jail once again. This time, the charge is statutory rape when it turns out that his girlfriend had lied about being eighteen, and was, in fact, fifteen (or, as McMurphy puts it, "fifteen going on thirty-five"). Rather than spend his time in jail, he convinces the guards that he's crazy enough to need psychiatric care and is sent to a hospital. He fits in frighteningly well, and his different point of view actually begins to cause some of the patients to progress. Nurse Ratched becomes his personal cross to bear as his resistance to the hospital routine gets on her nerves.

Jack Nicholson is a great actor. No, there is a great actor, a spectacular
actor. This is a film quite early in his career and is
several other actors in this film, which later had far too much
races, including Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd and Brad Dourif.
The movie has some unforgettable moments ...
who could forget Louise Fletcher's icy stare, Jack Nicholson's smart-aleck comments or Will
Sampson's impressive, almost entirely silent performance?
The film portrays the terrible truth about how patients were treated in the calculation
mental institutions at that time, and tells the story of someone who desperately wanted to leave
, to rebel, to change things,
for themselves and others. I was compelled by this film, from the first frame.
I never took my eyes off him, and I will definitely be thinking about this
cinema for a while. I thought it was great the way one of the first
frameworks of the institution represented as something much more similar to a
prison hospital. Milos Forman did a great job of making very powerful
contrast to the viewer. The film is very moving and beautiful
truly cinematic experience. Each actor gives a stellar performance
, each character is well written,
every single line, each frame is absolutely perfect. I do not
change one thing in this movie. Have a great pace, never loses
interest, but never seems to be rushing to get through it, either.
is simply perfect. I have not read the original book, but if I ever come across
she could prove it. Only I saw this movie once, but
definitely going to see many times in the coming years. I recommend
this incredible piece of great movies to anyone who has at least a slight
interest in the genre drama, or any fan of any of the actors, since

First, the first thing, while I watched this movie, I found myself surprised.
This film so entertaining the audience, as it did excite and inform. A
chilling, disturbing and revealing look at mental institutions
as seen through the eyes of a contract. Jack Nicholson, Louise Fletcher,
Brad Dourif, Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd, supplementing the excellent and very well
caste cast.

Jack Nicholson plays brilliantly Randall Patrick McMurphy, an ex-con who

Randall, and notices something different from him, he is not as well as the psycho
others, but is a bit out there. Their work is difficult indeed to have to put
with all these men, who do not listen, some going crazy and throwing fits, and other
just sit there and do nothing.

Randall meets many new friends in this place, Brad Dourif played Billy Bibbit
, is mentally unstable, but voluntarily institutionalized person.
Danny DeVito plays Martini, a slow but sweet and charming man, which means
harm to know what it does or says. Christopher Lloyd plays Taber, a man who
also voluntarily institutionalized himself. He also met Head, a large
"dumb and deaf" Indian, as with those who play basketball. Randall
must try to survive these days with their new friends, and
hospital, as well as an eternal war as to which one can observe the world
series on television. Put the nurse Ratched, and other patients, doctors,
vistors, and nurses. Ultimately led to a dramatic end, which makes
who wants to stand up and joy.

I think what was best about this film was realism. I had no problem
believe that this was happening. Almost like a documentary, is
surprising and powerful, bringing the viewer does not want to miss the final
. Some of the sequences are memorable, like the game of basketball, and
tide. Jack Nicholson, as always plays his character
absolutely excellent, and makes the viewer wants to hand him an Oscar himself.

cast, Louise Fletcher, Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, and Brad Dourif
also give tremendous performances. Danny, Christopher and Brad's
all races were made with this magnificent film. All this is sentimental, funny,
dramatic, intense, chilling, disturbing, divert, and tragic. The end
surprised and leaves the viewer sitting there thinking about what he just saw.
See this movie, and I think. I think you will find your
one of the best ever.

The second film to win all five major Oscars: Best Picture, Best Actor
(Nicholson), Best Actress (Fletcher), Director and Screenplay. And
deserve all of them.
