I do not understand why people hate this movie so much. I have not seen
such scathing comments from Gigli. It sure seems that people (both in the
rottentomatos pros and fans here) are trying to overcome
it as it can be unpleasant.

Let me hit the main objections:

when the waves. Oh boy, people hated both waves. Too complicated
and is different from previous films he had seen, he said. I
recalls that time the wave theory most recently appeared in the 2005
series Doctor Who, and made sense on its own terms. The film dealt with
explain why the time the waves could not be passed through
and why the alternative trip at the end of his disappearance. What else can
ask? Will people prefer evil, senseless
"fade-away" theory Back to the Future? Or style Terminator
only completely ignoring the paradox? I for one like to see the new sci-fi
ideas when I see science fiction movies. The griping about the central plot
of innovation recalls how people hated the original movie ring
idea of the videotape happy.

SFX. Of course, were not at the level of The Lord of The Rings, but the film
not cost as much as Lord of the Rings. For a film that
had so little more money for the post after floods destroyed Czech
sets during the shooting, is rather unfair
noted that there were only a handful of vehicle models and one
textures of the street came from 3D Studio Max. The effects on the whole are much better than
most of what we saw in the 1990's, and is considered adequate
then. To tell the SFX seemed cardboard cut-outs? Give me a break.
This type of foam at the mouth is not useful in a review.
Moreover, SFX always advance the plot, which is something that
can not be said of the podrace Star Wars or Harry Potter quidditch
(also known as George Lucas et al . Bathroom Break).

act. One of the previous comments glowingly referred to
Ben Kingsley in the work of Sexy Beast. Now that the film had the worst camera work
from Blair Witch and the majority of Turgo, obvious plot, and the tardiest
the pace of any film I saw that year. If that person likes of films like Sexy Beast
(I think the word for such kind of film is
"dialogue-driven"), then it's your own damn fault to go to see a
Monster sci-fi movie. I think the acting could be described as quite
"competent" - easily the best Star Wars film, for example.
Nobody is going to win an Oscar, but on the other hand, not
stars Russell Crowe. The script

. I agree that we could have used some editing, but at no time fazer characters act like complete idiots. I would have liked to have seen
an explanation of why dispatches
never ran into each other until the end, and why the main character just disappears at the end.
But most, if not all, of the minor plot holes could have been resolved
with a better dialogue. For example, instead of wasting time saying about
"It hurt when you're lying on two occasions," the female scientist
could have said "if this machine shuts down, this version of you
die. "When we go in the metro, the protagonist could have
said that" there are monsters here until we die and therefore can not be
monsters down there "instead of the frivolous comment made. In
other films (much of the Matrix 2 and 3, or the end of AI),
plots simply makes no sense at an early point. It's better, in my opinion
, to have a script that could use a little editing rather than one that completely
Bamboozled the moviegoer. Moreover, the repetitiveness
of the film (as the monkey-lizards that seems to be everywhere)
it appears because of short SFX budget - which had a limited budget
creature. As I said earlier I think it's a little unfair
criticize the film as being low budget, when in all
which seems quite good.

I was glad to see a B-style sci-fi movie, since its been months since
the 2005 Doctor Who series ended. It had large, famous
second-tier players, and lots of SFX. The plot is miles better than the last four or five
Star Trek movies, let alone Alien v.
Predator, and unfortunately that will do much more harm just because
not have a "franchise" attached to it.
He lived in the Los Angeles area since about a year ago. When I
I love to watch free film screenings. As I understand it, these
screening test was conducted marketing research firms
at the behest of film studios. You watch a movie for free and then
fill in a form explaining what you liked and did not like about the film.
The company then selects a small group of spectators for a Q & A focus group
.

Therefore, I have seen a free selection of a sound of thunder about six months ago.
We were told that the special effects were only "models" and
hence, not to judge the impact too harshly. And we were promised that
for the release of the real special effects would be spectacular.

I just saw a solid Thunder in its opening on Friday and
special effects were exactly the same. They used the mock-ups, "pretend
special effects," for release.

What makes me believe that the screening test is so bad
comments that the study decided to cut their losses. Not
publicity for this movie a lot and not spend real money in
special effects.

One of the things that may have changed some of the publisher. The pace
felt a little better than the original, free screening. I mean the movie has
a lot of problems, but it appeared that some small things were reduced or cut
least different.

I'm hoping that the DVD will have a hint of feedback so that we can hear the
behind the scenes of history what really happened. But I doubt the study will
put any bells and whistles on the DVD.

I agree with everyone else. This is a bad movie (with the exception of Ben Kingsley
interesting character work). But it was compounded by
studying the lack of commitment and support.
