While growing up in the Great Depression era, Johnny Cash(Joaquin Phoenix) takes an interest in music and eventually moves out of his Arkansas town to join the air force in Germany. While there, he buys his first guitar and writes his own music, and proposes to Vivian. When they got married, they settled in Tennessee and with a daughter, he supported the family by being a salesman. He discovers a man who can pursue his dreams and ends up getting a record with the boys. Shortly after that, he was on a short tour, promoting his songs, and meets the already famous and beautiful June Carter(Reese Witherspoon). Then as they get on the long-term tours with June, the boys, and Jerry Lee Lewis, they have this unspoken relationship that grows. But when June leaves the tour because of his behavior, he was a drug addict. His marriage was also falling apart, and when he sees June years later at an awards show, he forces June to tour with them again, promising June to support her two kids and herself. While the tour goes on, the relationship between June and John grow more,and his marriage to his first wife ends. June finds out about the drugs, and help him overcome it. True love and care helped John eventually stop the drug usage, and finally proposes to her in front of an audience at a show.

Whenever I see so much "Oscar worthy" tags / Blurbs in an advertising campaign
I get nervous, see Cinderella Man. In general we look closely at the fine print and
see that the estimated critical to congratulate the film is Joe Schmoe
of Light One Stop Bugle press Buttcreek, Illinois or a low level
FLUNKY that just happens to work for the media conglomerate that
is distributing the film. So my heart sank a little when a movie I have
were eagerly awaiting was swaddled with such praise when
ads hit the air.

But they're right for once.

Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash used an example. He is not doing a rich
Little impersonation, which do not rub your eyes in disbelief, but he
channels of a man so different in appearance and voice to a level that is beyond
admirably. One of the traits that made Johnny Cash is a legend that nobody expected
or sounded like him. In the absence of a computer generated effects
to walk around his own bio-pic as one of those John Wayne
trading this beer is the ultimate representation. And

Phoenix, however, may not give the best performance in the film.

Reese Witherspoon is more than an end in a role that easily could have been reduced
a bumpkin cliches. Witherspoon portrays the
on stage June in the form in June portrayed his own "character", the stage
person who loved people, while its decision and the interior
force to be women to tame a hell-bent, brown bear of a man
as did John.

The chemistry of Phoenix and Witherspoon in any scenario, but
during her duets in particular, are truthful in a way that
resonates long after the credits. I know that unless
has been living in a cave last week that probably have been bombarded with
the word that the actors sing themselves without the use of lip synchronization.
I have never been a fan of musicals, or even musical performances in a film
. In general, it seems forced and awkward for me, the time when
no longer experience the history and reminds
feel that I am watching a movie. Never considered that in this movie. Never felt that his singing
occupies the attention of the film, but the proceedings with work
history like no other music I've ever seen bio. I never felt as if I
was being led through the catalog, songs felt like organic and natural
as any spoken dialogue in a grand narrative.

This movie exceeded my expectations and gives me the first trip
house a theatre with a real sense of satisfaction in a very, very long time
. Highly recommended.
I absolutely loved it. Over my dad's music that mine (I was born in 1960-
am a rock-n-roll), but take my feet all the way across. It
fun, I grew up with certain songs by Johnny Cash, and heard about the
the legend of "black man" for as long as I can remember, but this movie
adds a new dimension to man, his music. I think it's a great
perhaps a whole new generation could enjoy their contributions.

J. Phoenix and Witherspoon are R. phenomenal and made this film a joy to see
. I have not enjoyed any movie in a long time. Judging
of applause and smiles to those attending the film is facing the way out-
I was not alone in my sincere enthusiasm for the film.
