Download Movie Donnie DarkoDonnie Darko gets along badly with his family, with his teachers and with his classmates; but he does manage to find a sympathetic friend in Gretchen, who agrees to date him; and he has a compassionate psychiatrist, who discovers hypnosis is the means to unlock hidden secrets. His other companion may not be a true ally. Donnie has a friend named Frank, who is either a large purple bunny, or man in a large purple bunny costume. Either way, Donnie is the only one who can see him. When an engine falls off a plane and destroys his room, Donnie is not there. Both the event, and Donnie's escape, seem to have been caused by supernatural events. Donnie's mental illness, if such it is, may never allow him to find out for sure.

The fact that this is the first film directors is unbelievable to me. The
goteĆ³ scenes with style, style that does not seem distracting. None of

is free greeting or wolverines. The visuals were supported by an
Result really emotional and difficult to find faults in the 80's pop melodies

that found their way into some of the most impressive scenes.

The story is very suggestive. His kind that leaves you pondering the possibilities
expressed by the characters.
There is nothing condescending about this movie. Answers Arent simply surrender, rather
the viewer is left to draw many conclusions. The
is also first class. If i hadnt known beforehand that
Patrick Swayze was in this movie, I would have been surprised. His character is

fun and interesting all at once. A great cameo for him. Drew Barrymore

forget is, however, that in no way detracts from the film. Of course, is
star Jake Gyllenhaal. There is nothing that can be said correctly
praise for their performance. The rest of the cast chosen fits perfectly
their duties. All these things combine to create an impressive film. One can only hope that cinemagoers
give this little jewel shot and support

truly wonderful. This is the only film that he awarded a 10/10 in
* This is a review of the Directors Cut *

I have already discussed initially released on court 'Donnie Darko' to
I will not review the film new. Instead, I will comment on the
differences between the two versions; unfortunately most of the differences
took the original movie, which I think is really excellent

traveled two hours round trip with several friends to see the
Directors Cut, as it will not be playing in Milwaukee at the time, and
, while I am glad that the I could see, I think the original is the superior version
. There were many unnecessary scenes in the new court
did not add to the film, but felt they did almost the pace
hesitate a bit. For example, the new scene between Donnie's parents
in the cafeteria - a totally unnecessary scene that adds nothing
relevant to the story. There were a handful of scenes like this,
as well as some added dialogue that indeed added to the development of
some characters (Drew Barrymore's character, the teacher 'Karen' was < br> slightly higher) than for some only seems silly (Donnie One of the bus stop
Cherita friends saying that he hopes she gets annoyed "made him
if only indirectly in being a
accessory character who is a donkey.)

Another important difference between the two films was the addition of several
special effects to the new court. There was a lot of dream-like sequences
(file cabinets floating among the clouds
wing Rene Magritte) and all things focused on Donnie's eyeball,
-ish computer codes, etc., except that did not work in my opinion. Also,
some of the more subtle changes, banda sonora, for instance,
disarm. The opening song was "The Killing Moon" by Echo and the Bunnymen
in the original, which provided a great backdrop in the introduction
Donnie, his environment and his family. Kelly used
"Never Tear Us Apart 'INXS in his court managers. Undoubtedly, a good
song, but after using a perfect song originally, it is difficult to get used
less than a replacement.

Which is how to summarize my feelings about the directors Kelly
court in general? Why mess with (almost) perfect? 'Donnie Darko' is a fantastic
film that was so inspiring that made some people run the other way
. Only those who were interested in something beyond the ordinary
was to reflect and theorize its meaning, and remain to this day. Kelly
the new court does not improve the film rather plodding
and did a little dumb-down - two adjectives I never thought I
attributed to this movie. See the directors cut to play 'spot the new
things', but stick with the original.
