First: Greetings from a guy who lives somewhere between
Brussels sprouts, hahahaha. So, I come from Belgium, you know
place that nobody really knows, not even the Europeans ... Although

expected to really hate this movie, I must admit that
I had a lot of fun watching. I loved seeing the
magnified stereotypes about the French, English, Germans, ... and mocked
on the Catholic Church. Some people noted that it was evident that manufacturers
really do not know anything about those countries that
were making jokes. Of possible, but do not bother me once.
It is a comedy, not a Traveler's Guide!

That's how the story goes: A teenager was dumped by his girlfriend in
the day of his graduation. He has contact with a German girl, named
Mieke, but he thought it was a type called Mike. Knowing this and after
he has seen his picture, he decided to pay his visit in Berlin. But
of course not only end up in Berlin. They start their journey in
London, goes to Paris, Amsterdam and Bratislava before arriving in Berlin
...

The film's script or the plot were probably the least of
director's concerns. Clearly, only wanted to go to Europe,
to have some fun and a movie hilarious situation after another.
He feels that most viewers Europeans do not mind being the
theme of the film. Yes it is crude and does not show anything about how
is really Europe, but also is incredibly fun. I
an 8 / 10 for that.
Before seeing this film for the first time, my friends
not fail to mention this movie and telling me how great it is. Now that I have seen
far as I can see why we love so much. I will admit that this movie is extremely
obscene and even shows some images are not allowed to think
R-rated films. Never the less the jokes are hilarious and
flows of the plot and not without difficulties.

Some people probably hate this movie because of the manner in which portrays
Europeans. To them I say Lighten Up! It is a film that purports to be stereotyped
. They warmly stereotype, however, using many of the
common views and prejudices that the average American feels toward
inhabitants of different countries.

Altogether, the cast was well chosen, the music was impressive,
situations are entertaining, and the seats were great.
I highly suggest this movie to people who love to laugh a non
easily get offended.
