Car theft in Long Beach went down 47% when Randall "Memphis" Raines walked away from the life. He gets dragged back into it by assuming the job his brother Kip screwed up for stolen-car broker Raymond Calitri: steal 50 exotic cars and have them on a container ship by 8 AM Friday morning, and he got this news on a Monday. With Calitri threatening to kill him and Kip, and the police GRAB unit breathing down his neck, Memphis reassembles his old crew and attempts to pull off the logistically impossible.

How the combination of an actor Cage and the talents of a producer with
wealth, experience and influence of Jerry Bruckheimer could only reach
this lame-brain mega-boring, not the event that a remake, the only thing you can not imagine.
Nicolas Cage plays and Nicolas Cage quite well (I know he supposed to be
Memphis Raines, but does not allow to be pedantic)

What is wrong with this movie? absolutely everything! Hello?
was originally a car-film sequence .... not any car chase movie, simply the best thing
never been seen in 1974. That's why this is a monstrous hit film
... everybody was talking about it and queuing at the box office
DOS sessions ahead to see it! (I was one of them). What the hell is this?
a two-hour conversation with some fest mode of action at the beginning and most disappointing
climatic sequence lasting just 8 minutes and culminating in
most underwhelming digitized jumps than ever saw. HB Halicki,
producer and star of the original would be turning in his grave. Also,
classic car or not, Cage's Mustang Shelby can not hold a candle to the Yellow
formidable Mach 1 in el'74 original!

Apparently, 90% of respondents IMDb have not seen the original, I do not think
half of them even knew there was one. Probably, like
well! Utter disappointment
shouting that marked as another useless and frivolous
remake!
This is one of those movies I liked enough the first time, but no cree
that much of them in the second window. I suppose enough
was simply a good thing to see. Maybe it was the attitude immature
that prevailed throughout the film wearing thin. But I will not knock
the film is entertaining and definitely worth seeing if
have not seen.

If you like cars and hunting scenes. t worth multiple looks. In fact,
persecution car scene at the end is one of the best that you see.
Banda sonora pleasant here, too, and a good cast with Nicholas Cage
to the head.

The bad news? Well, here we have another case of making Hollywood "bad boys
" heroes. We are supposed to root for people who steal cars?
