Nelson (Keanu Reeves) is a man devoted to his advertising career in San Francisco. One day, while taking a driving test at the DMV, he meets Sara (Charlize Theron). She is very different from the other women in his life. Nelson causes her to miss out on taking the test and later that day she tracks him down. One thing leads to another and Nelson ends up living with her through a November that will change his life forever.

(10 10) I just saw "Sweet November" on television by chance.
I had no idea what it was beforehand, and I have not seen the original.
The result is a thoroughly moving experience. It's amazing how the same movie can beat
to different people. It is also incredible how one of mind can affect a person
reaction to a movie. In my case, the film caught me in the right
morale and the right stage of life. Hence, completely beaten the ground. I
judge a film based on how that makes me feel, and to what degree.
I was falling asleep just before the film came, but once I started awoke
immediately. Then I felt slight anger, then some healthy laughter, and
I shouted at one point, that for me (as 28 years old, macho guy)
is a rarity. Was the script, plot, the actors
convincing performances,
or simply my own state of mind that allows this film to talk to me?
I do not know. All we do know is that now I can go to sleep, feeling totally
peaceful and fulfilled.
