A picture perfect middle class family is shocked when they find out that one of their neighbors is receiving obscene phone calls. The mom takes slights against her family very personally, and it turns out she is indeed the one harassing the neighbor. As other slights befall her beloved family, the body count begins to increase, and the police get closer to the truth, threatening the family's picture perfect world.

Imagine this: the main character is a woman named Beverly Sutphin.
Her husband is a dentist and it does its best to raise their children.
In a nutshell, it is a respectable human being with the particularity of being a real
Stickler for morality. Perhaps, a little too respectable to
when someone is speaking ill of a family member, Beverly
is willing to kill to defend his family!
Only a filmmaker nominated for this trip seemed very entertaining black comedy
: John Waters, the king of bad taste and extravagance. In "
Serial Mom", most of the comic situations are structured around these two
characteristics. Everything is packed in an hour and a half. Not
bored for a moment and honestly you laugh in front of all these murders. In
"Serial Mom", Waters also recognize strong taste for bloody, Gore
and horror movies. Moreover, for this extraordinary director, is the
opportunity to damage the image of the model American family.
Altogether, a deliciously politically incorrect comedy directed by Kathleen Turner
at the top.

Sutphins seems to be the image of a normal 50 ' s-esque family - father
(Sam Waterston) is a dentist; mom (a fantastic Kathleen Turner) is a house wife
great tribute to Donna Reed, June Cleaver and such; daughter
(Rikki Lake) and son (Matthey Lillard) seems to be your average teenage
with a perfect family life .... Or is it?
Based on real life actual events, John Waters gets
bring another great movie - and this time - that takes dead aim at
'celebrity' we make of murderers and criminals ....< br>
I am sure many of us have gone through our lives, fretful
by that person or that object and never have done anything about it. ... Not
Betty Sutphin .... When this suburban mom goes out - will
outside .... From minor annoyances (white shoes after a day!) A major
anger management, Betty took matters into their own hands -
passes a murder spree - taking 6 to an early grave victims .. ..
Of course, in typical form of water, is a bit over the top and corny, but
is a great movie! Some of the humor is very low compared - in poor taste but, as
Waters mentioned in interviews - bad taste can be tasteful!
this gave me a 9 - a very enjoyable movie!
