I must say in advance that I found "The Death and Life of Bobby Z 'to be quite
sad and disappointing. I have read a great book by the author of
where it came from (the other half read) and I was disappointed with this effort
on the screen. All I can think is that the director John Herzfeld
(15 minutes, 2 Days in the Valley) did not get to do what I wanted to do
. I'm sure she loved the book so that the rights were bought by a considerable amount
.

The story is that the DEA agent Tad Gruzsa, played by Laurence Fishburne,
provides former Marine Tim Kearney, played by Walker, with an output of
his prison sentence. By impersonating the legendary criminal Bobby Z. ..
I thought it was a bit convoluted, slow in places (read "
pretty boring"), too stupid in others, and I do not think Paul Walker, or
(surprisingly) Fishburne clinch his characters in what should have been
an action thriller reasonably fast.

Please do not view this movie. It is very unfortunate ... It is sad to see the great
Neo, the excellent Laurence Fishburne incur this. Paul Walker?
Forget it ...

I am looking forward to seeing this movie about the power of
Mainly Laurence Fishburne, Paul Walker, and secondly, the author of the source
(book) materials, Don Winslow . I am confident that this book was great, like the one that
I read 'The Winter of Frankie Machine, "which is becoming

However, 'The Death and Life of Bobby Z' is one of the most unfortunate film,
sloppy piece of celluloid scum, I have had the misfortune to see in

"15 Minutes" director John Herzfeld's "Bobby Z" rates
an above-average action thriller with double crosses, shoot'em ups, and
surprises, but everything seems a little too routine in the long term.
"Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker plays three times a loser Tim Kearney.

enough gunplay to keep you distracted. The best in Krakow and Lawrence
script is to keep the hero on the run,

The plot is based on the timeworn theme of deception. D.E.A. Agent Tad
Gruzsa (Lawrence Fishburne of "Matrix" trilogy) offers three times
loser Tim Kearney a quick and easy way to get out of jail. Kearney is keen to take
Gruzsa to treat because it has just killed a member of the Aryan Brotherhood
, maddog (Chuck Liddell of "How High"), with a pugnacious when
car plate the bully out a knife on him.
Now, all the Aryan Brotherhood, both inside and outside the demands shake
ROI. Meanwhile, a ruthless Mexican drug lord, Don Huertero
(Joaquim de Almeida of "Desperado"), has taken Gruzsa
partner of the hostages. Gruzsa has to produce a legendary, surfer with a friend
reputation of a famous pot smuggler to get her companion back to
security.

Of course, there is more here than meets the eye, but plays Herzfeld
their aces close to his vest and not revealing the surprises
until the last quarter-hour. Anyway, Gruzsa and his new partner to take Kearney
an appointment at the border where the exchange is scheduled for
place. During the exchange, Gruzsa shows his true color, and breaks
an assault rifle. He tries to kill Kearney, but misses our hero
narrowly when Kearney in travel by rail between the bad and
the good / bad. Gruzsa kills his next partner and snuffs
some of the opposition before it is cleared out. Later, at the controls in a room tattoo
led by Boom Boom (MC Gainey from "Con Air") and reveals that it is
Kearney and across the border. Boom Boom mobilizes the Brotherhood and that
sums in pursuit of their bicycles.

In Mexico, Kearney was recaptured by Don Huertero
's henchman and taken to his palatial estate. Kearney meets Bobby Z of the bride Elizabeth
(notably the beautiful Olivia Wilde from "Turistas") and who has sex with
Kearney and knows that it is not Bobby Z. Meanwhile, Kearney learns
Bobby Z who has a son, eleven-year-old Kit (Juan Villareal
"Harvest of Redemption") and the two bonds when Kearney escapes from the ranch
with the bad guys hot on his trail lead by Johnson (Keith Carradine
of "The Long corridors") who likes to spit every time they meet
of someone who disapprove.

"Bobby Z" is complicated enough to be interesting, but remains in total
a little too smug to be the biggest achievement of
something like "True Romance" ;. Fortunately, Walker did not play a double role. Yes,
there is a happy ending that seems a bit incredible, but then
is just a movie. Comparatively, "Bobby Z" is not as fun as "Into the Blue
" or "Running Scared."
