The above summaries do a great job of describing the dynamics of the love triangle that develops between the two pilots that fall in love with the same nurse. The movie also does a credible job of displaying the war from the American side with FDR and our side. It also shows the strategy of Japan as they plan for and execute all facets of the attack on Pearl Harbor. While all details may not be historically correct, I believe that they do the job well - all things considered. Historic events that were altered were probably done so in an attempt to also make this movie the entertaining epic that it is.

This bloated, walking, tediously overlong, hilariously affected
'Titanic' wannabe shows a lot of experience in visual effects

What a great film this could have been! The recreation of the attack on Pearl Harbor

It ranks up there with the opening sequence of "Saving Private Ryan" and
The sinking of the Titanic as one of the most harrowing "disaster"
sequences filmed in recent years . But as both the other two films,
Pearl Harbor desperately needed a script worthy of framing the disaster
sequence.

Well - I could almost accept the old hokey romantic love triangle plot -
Then, the stars are great to see - but the dialogue really sucked:
"I do not think it ever able to see another sunset without thinking of you. "
Please! And all those shots hero of the land, and the slow-motion love
bits, and the soppy music, and the eternal sunsets ...

But this movie what is really needed is an editor! The climax of the film is
The attack on Pearl Harbor - an American defeat. But it appears that the
- Those responsible for the film decided that the American audience would not be satisfied with

scenes and focus on the experiences of people on the ground in
Pearl Harbor. The Japanese all things is absolutely unbelievable anyway.
The sad loss would be the magnificent performance of Jon Voight as Roosevelt -
But perhaps could make another film about him. I also put an end to the film
After the attack on Pearl Harbor, as the survivors pick up the pieces. So
Why not have a smaller Director's Cut - a new concept - that makes this
film of the great film it could have been. If you like me lend
