Proponents of delivery and open the doors of the castle. His enemies are

Great idea to open the film with the final confrontation, as it does every
that looks odd. How these two characters fall into such a situation? The
rest of the film is a flashback explaining why it had to happen.
Barata produced in Lithuania, `Warrior Angels' is a film with pros and cons
contras. On the one hand, the idea of making Elisabeth, a woman older than 40 years, the central character
, is brilliant. Instead of princesses cute you know
countless other fantasy films or Charlie's Angels (
remember the title!) The type of girl combatants, presents us with a tired, but very experienced
combating lady here who enters his last battle for personal reasons
, trying to rescue his kidnapped child. The cast is marvelous. First
have Rutger Hauer as Grekkor (he looked at my old for the first time -
but then I realized that it was 20 years ago I saw at the cinema in
`Blade Runner ', what counts is not saying the same thing about me), a villain with a
cause, not only for the bad taste to do so. He explains how
their land was taken from him and he wants to use the time while the king is abroad who steal
back. His motivation for the kidnapping of the son of Elisabeth
is plausible as well, since it wants to teach a child how to become a warrior,
that his father never did for him, he thinks. Secondly, we have Arnold "The Mummy"
Vosloo who gets the best part. A permanently drunk loser at first, becomes
Grekkor's right hand man, but then he realizes he may be on the wrong side
, so he thinks a lot in their loyalty, duty, Inside
feelings, torn between despair and courage reborn - not just a cliché role
all! Last not least, we have a team of 4 ladies when Elisabeth
teams up with a jacket, a thief and a witch. Their characters totally different
make the film entertaining.
On the other hand, `Warrior Angels' makes a few mistakes. Each historian
burst out laughing to the introduction of Isabel as a woman who has been fighting
as a knight in the Crusades with Richard Lionheart. Like
Ivanhoe or Robin Hood, are trying to give some historical background
. Now, a woman on an equal footing fighter in a Christian army did not even exist
1890, let alone 1190. The writer must have seen too many episodes and Xena
thinking female warriors are a normal part of life in the middle ages
. They should have omitted the reference to the years 1190 and fazer "Warrior Angels' timeless fantasy of a movie. I also wonder why the villain is called
Grekkor or not George James, and is supposed to be British. Where Are
getting typical fancy name? Apart from these inconsistencies,
I also wonder why people in cities around (who outnumber the Grekkor
bandits of the measure) will never attack. The film simply suffers from the budget
limitation, I suppose, hence, there are some not so spectacular battles and
obviously cheap staging. However, I think 'Warrior Angels
is definitely a better choice than `Amazon and Gladiadores" for example, from
there are good players and a couple of original ideas along the way.

In 1190, the knight Elizabeth (Joanna Pacula) leaves his young son Peter
(Sander Kolosov) in England and battles in the Holy Crusades. She
is injured and returns to his village, where it is reported that the local priest
Peter was kidnapped by the evil tyrant Grekkor
(Ruther Hauer) and his army. Elizabeth decides to build an army to fight against
Grekkor, but all men are afraid and only she has the support
Hunter (Molly curve) and
his bow and arrows, the prostitute Eve (Charlotte Avery), and gypsy Sybil
(Rimantas Valiukaite) and powder and herbs. Later, the strong
Lucas (Arnold Vosloo) helps them against Grekkor.
"Warrior Angels" is very reasonable low-budget movie action.
The story is predictable, but has a good premise and good performances by
most of the cast. Unfortunately, the ridiculous and expressionless
Sander Kolosov and his permanent smile on his face
loot one of the most important and main characteristics. This boy irritated me, and probably
he is a relative of a producer or crew for this movie, otherwise
I do not know why he was not replaced by another actor. My vote is six.
