Some Arabs hijack an airliner and demand the release of their leader who is in American custody. They also intend to land in Washington for refueling. At the Pentagon, everyone there advises the National Security Advisor that they should let the plane land and then let the counter terrorist team of Colonel Austin Travis take them out. But David Grant, an intelligence expert believes that this whole thing is a smokescreen. Grant believes that the Arab leader was abducted by his second in command, who is a fanatic. And that he has in his possession a biological weapon that could wipe out Washington and that it's on the plane. Now they have only two choices let them land and hope Grant is wrong or shoot the plane down along with every one onboard. Then Colonel Travis suggests that they use this new plane that the military uses to transport men from onto another aircraft while in flight. With no other option Travis is given the go ahead. He then asks that Grant be allowed to!

In the modern world, Exec December strikes closer to home
of what we originally intended, and that foreshadows disturbingly 9 / 11 and other terrorist acts.
That makes it a perfect flip-side companion piece to Paul Greengrass's United 93
little seen. In the world of December Exec heroes save the day and
americas wins. In Mexico 93 (and the real world) life is not that simple
. However, since this was 5 years before 9 / 11
should be judged purely as entertainment and not as any political statement.

Kurt Russell plays David Grant, one of counter-terrorism expert who is
puts in the Pentagon when a group of Muslim extremists crazed
taken during a flight from Athens to Washington DC. After flying
civilians in London, demand for the recently captured terrorist leader Sayed
Jaffa (think mouth) was released and they are given
million dollars in gold bullion. Grant, a suspicion that it was merely a ploy
to enter U.S. to establish airspace in front of a huge bomb rigged with a huge supply of
DZ-5 poison gas.

His only apparent option is to blow up the plane over the Atlantic,
killing all on board and sinking any evidence that might have
. But Colonel Travis (Steven Seagal people!) Suggests hitch

entertainment. What first attracted me to Exec December was obviously the

is undoubtedly one of the most unique scenes of action in the last decade
and was the main attraction of the film for me.

judge him a lot and hard to play their characters to death in this movie
stating that the only thing December Exec good about it 'the death of
Seagal 10 minutes in a long cameo'. What is absolutely absurd and untrue
thing to say. Seagal is in the movie
full 45 minutes before he dies. What was done to shock the audience into believing that if
Seagal dies after all the cast could be next. And even if you're a

action that does not have a nostalgic value, but somehow I tuned in this
and I could not take my eyes off him. We are dealing with a flight
hi-jacking and the situation has been seen before, but the way this story is told
surprised me in a positive way.

scriptwriters to write a story that everyone thinks that've seen before and still
maintaining intensity throughout the film. Good acting
Kurt Russell, Oliver Blatt, and especially John Leguizamp. This is an action-
movie worth seeing. My rating: 7 / 10
