Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) was raised to be the best bowler in the world (trained early on by his father). But a fellow bowler, Ernie McCracken (Bill Murray) and a misunderstanding with some rough punks, leaves poor Roy with the loss of his bowling hand! Not to let this get him down, he gets a prosthetic hand and becomes a traveling sales man. But it's really all down hill for him from that night on until ... One day he meets Ishmael (Randy Quaid) who's a Quaker that sneaks away from the farm to bowl (his fellow Quakers would disown him if they knew)! Roy convinces Ishmael to let him be his trainer and he'll make him the best bowler the world has ever seen. Reluctantly Ismael agrees to go on the road and shortly afterwards actually finds that life outside the farm is quite fun. Soon their paths cross that of Ernie McCracken who is still top ranking bowler. While Roy's career and life have landed in the toilet bowl, Ernie is still drawing huge crowds and all the babes! They both square off for the untimate bowling championship ... to see which one truly IS the champion. To find that out you'll have to see this funny and original movie. Bill Murray is at his best, since Caddyshack. Randy Quaid makes some daring choices that really work and Woody Harrelson brings us the comdey style from "Cheers" that made him a household name!

Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the directors of "Kingpin"
show a great talent for this kind of comedy. By not having seen for the first time when he was released,
We were lucky to catch on cable the other night, and frankly, is
proved a happy choice. The Farrellys had a good game screen
Barry Fanaro and Mort Nathan to work because it showed a talent for assembling
a wonderful cast to make this a winning comedy and fun
movie is exciting.

The best thing about the film are Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray. Mr
Harrelson plays Roy Munson, the man who love bowling, but through a
unfortunate incident, loses his ability to play the sport that was born to play
. Woody Harrelson is wonderful in its image Munson. Account
Murray's role is much smaller, but it does wonders with him. Best of all
is the way we see it in the bowling tournament in Reno with
teased her hair in disarray.

The rest of the cast is good. Randy Quaid as Ishmael Boorg, gives a
fun reading his naive character. Also, the attractive Vanessa Angel
plays a woman who has an interest in the game.
Kingpin, (despite what you may think) is a comedy novel.
Do not let the unpopularity of the people of appreciation for this movie
missguide you, is a truly hilarious movie.

Woody Harrelson plays the ultimate downtime. A washing
ex-professional player. A man who is turned into an embarrassment. A man who
rather float around their existence as a mortal wound of darkness and
drink himself to death, possibly do something of himself
again. He meets with a dense Amish boy named Ishmael. Ismael
is so stupid, so naive and

forget what's going on around him - he makes grace.

Bill Murray appeared off and on in this twisted image - and all of its
screen time is absolutely beautiful. Kingpin is a piece of comedy gold
, many have overlooked ....
