John Smith is an amoral gunslinger in the days of Prohibition. On the lam from his latest (unspecified) exploits, he happens upon the town of Jericho, Texas. Actually, calling Jericho a town would be too generous--it has become more like a ghost town, since two warring gangs have 'driven off all the decent folk.' Smith sees this as an opportunity to play both sides off against each other, earning himself a nice piece of change as a hired gun. Despite his strictly avowed mercenary intentions, he finds himself risking his life for his, albeit skewed, sense of honor....

I must say that although I have not seen Yojimbo, and only
yesterday saw a fistful of dollars (Last Man Standing be a remake of
Yojimbo, the same way that handful), while the handful more classic, iconic
, intelligent and two, Last Man Standing still stands as a high
gritty, exciting, beautiful and atmospheric film noir. Every second
drips ban of the film was beautiful gangster atmosphere that
if you're in that kind of experience, will make it an exciting movie. If you and your
beings handful Yojimbo, this is probably only worth seeing
see the third and less famous take on this classic story of an unnamed man
working two warring groups for own benefit. The action, when
however, is very fast and furious style, and Bruce Willis (while
not Clint Eastwood) has its own reality as a convincing and enjoyable
Antiheroes as John Smith. It is tragically overlooked and undervalued, and
worth seeing.
First let me say that people have great expectations.
Movies like this are not made to win Oscars. There most kinds of films,
with high action and a lot of sexual preference. But it was a solid film all
together. Willis gives a solid performance and so does Walken.
The action scenes are very good and provide much excitment. I gave this movie a
