Fran helps Maryanne on her way to becoming a woman of confidence. Along the way she meets Barry, a charming Englishman who sweeps her off her feet, but he has a secret.

Here is a movie for real women with real bodies - of all sizes and shapes
. Since we hardly fit the supposed ideal society, this
must be a film with a wider audience (heh-heh). This is a fine film with a great
banda sonora dealt with the complex problems of
body size and relationships with sensitivity, style and
compassion. It will be particularly attractive to girls and their big
admirers, and anyone who ever known or loved a woman who
does not conform to social norms (ie, a lot of people). Hurray! It's so great to see
beautiful women of all sizes as real, sexy,
intelligent, knowledgeable, and self-confidence. How refreshing change.
