I never expected to be very positively impressed by this universally pan
thriller. Are all the other respondents see the same movie I did?
I just shake my head, and marvel at the splendor of all these people who find
to end the predictable.

I dare say that I am older and have seen more classic thrillers that most of the
IMDB audience, but this movie kept me on the edge of my seat. And Banderas
has never looked better. I thought both lead characters are interesting
and deep. Harry Dean Stanton is wonderful, as usual, as the serial murderer
against whom De Mornay has to testify, Len Cariou and does a nice turn as
separated from his father trying to make a definitive peace with her.

De Mornay actually produced, and daring sex scene
could not have happened without his enthusiasm. Well, I agree with the dead cat was too
a cliché, but the detective? Banderas' true identity? Miller's real
? The twists and turns surely I had to go. Despite the fact that I wanted to
De Mornay outside myself to take his place in the chain fence scene.
And yes, this old gal certainly considered erotic, despite what I have read
over. I think this is his best performance to date.

I give this 10/10.
A more or less typical thriller made special by Rebecca De Mornay
's impressive performance. She is the executive producer of this image and
must have badly wanted to do this role - I'm glad she did.

She plays a psychiatrist to evaluate whether an accused serial murderer
is competent to stand trial. It becomes obvious from the outset that she was drawn to
psychiatry for its own severe emotional problems and
difficult past. In the meantime, shows disturbing
relationships with men appearing in their personal lives. A bad neighbour above
wants, but she only wants to be friends. His father
sample of the blue seeking affection and assistance, but she resists him, and that
is clear that their relationship and their children are deeply troubled
. A strange (Banderas) which meets in a shop
ardently pursues her, and begin a romance, but she is struggling to trust him,
both because it is something of a suspicious character and because, as
she said, she has difficulty trusting anyone. Their relationship
becomes unstable and angry, violent dyed hues. Then
is the issue of her ex-boyfriend, who disappeared
abruptly and without explanation just before the scheduled date of the wedding.

As in this type of film, sent a series of mysterious
messages and packages with no return address. Then things begin to happen
violent. Someone is clearly trying to terrorize her, but that? Tan
many suspects - Flags? The neighbor above (that is, of course, jealous
Banderas)? The serial murderer, through friends outside
from prison? His father? The ex-girlfriend? I do not anticipate
the answer to this question, of course shown the film to end, but it was not unusual
especially for the conclusion of films of this type. What did this
image worth De Mornay was totally credible image, not to mention
tell us, a difficult character, I am reminded of what he did in "The Hand that Rocks
the cradle. " She is just such a great things,
besides being beautiful classic.

The other is doing fine, but nobody stands out. Flags
is always good, but this is a mostly eye candy for the ladies.
Harry Dean Stanton as the serial murderer is suitably menacing and crazed, but this picture is really
De Mornay. I thought it was a bit slow at times, but
the last 20 minutes or so made up for weaknesses. Definitely worth watching
.
