(comedy, crime)
Commandant Eric Lassard decides that the police force is overworked and understaffed, so he comes up with the idea of recruiting civilian volunteers to work side-by-side with officers in a program called "Citizens On Patrol" (COP). Carey Mahoney and his friends Moses Hightower, Larvell Jones, Eugene Tackleberry, Laverne Hooks, and Debbie Callahan are in charge of training the civilians. The civilians include Tommy "House" Conklin, Lois Feldman, Kyle, and Arnie. Captain Thaddeus Harris wants to take over Lassard's job, and that's why Harris is determined to see the COP program fail. But it's Harris and his right hand man Proctor who mess up by unintentionally allowing every inmate at the precinct 19 jail to escape.

Well, I have seen Police Academy 1, 2, 5, 7 and of course it.
I'm not just going to jump ahead and say that this is the best movie Police Academy
yet, but for now is. I still have to see Police Academy 3 and 6,
but I definitely enjoy it. I had a lot of laughter. So did my brother.
Before I saw the movie, I stayed here goes IMDb to check
report for this movie. When I learned that they were giving in this movie
Comedy Central, I thought: "I'm definitely going to see this!" Then in
Saturday, December 2, which aired on Comedy Central. I was extremely exited
who were making this movie. I even recorded it on tape.
Much I loved it. I liked it so much that I watch every day.
This makes me want to ask the Police Academy for the film pack
Christmas. In one way, this movie is important. First, it
the first film of David Spade (one of my favorite comedians.)
Not only that, but emphasized that the original cast of the other 3 Police Academy --- With
GW films Bailey Harris returning as captain. And a new
In addition to this movie only --- Sharon Stone? I can not image
Sharon Stone in a Police Academy movie.
There is another surprising about this movie. It was not until
David Spade's first film, and had quite an important role with his name ---
is shown in the opening credits. Not many players have proven their name in
opening credits when it is their first film. But something
confuses me. That is the fact that Tony Hawk was in this movie. It's hard to believe he was
because you can not even see it in
skateboarding scene. But he is credited at the end. Even with the show
other skaters. Preety couple was not he? Only about 16 years old.
I thought this was absolutely a great movie. In my view, deserves more stars
that the Police Academy films I've seen. It's really a great movie
of 80. I think many teenagers today enjoy this film because it reaches
see how the young David Spade & Tony Hawk were
(although Tony Hawk was shown at the end.) What I'm trying to
namely that people of all ages should see this because it is hilarious
and will laugh in front of their donkeys. Of course, it did.
Indeed, that is the question many asked in 1987, as soon Series
become too much of a not-so-good thing. Unfortunately, only
going to get worse from here. I tried no fewer than three times to sit through
Mission To Moscow, and is simply impossible. About the only reason to bother with
three episodes across six is so you can see the final episode where X
Cast members decided they had had enough. Or when X number
events which refers to a sequel took place.
Another big problem with PA4 (and boy, there are many) is the change in
target audience. Of course, episodes 1 to 3 could be enjoyed by children
with two digits in their age, but the primary audience is adults who have not
very high level. Unfortunately, someone in the movie studio
must have decided that writers have to please everybody, so watered
humor in so far as they could, without getting a grade G. That,
more than anything else, is what hurts Police Academy sequels 4 onwards.
Steve Guttenberg must have had a look at the finished product and
wondered why not quit about three movies ago. Bob Goldthwait takes
the slack in terms of comedy, but his act is also softened a bit too
now, ditching any vocal expression of their character in favor of
shouting and screaming the whole world. What might work for a comedy about
the mentally ill who have been neglected by the system for too long, but not
when your character is destined to be a police officer. But then again,
whole premise is built on a very unstable ground.
Police Academy Each film has at least one celebrity (except
George Gaynes) who wishes that he had never appeared in the film. Sharon Stone gets his turn
it, and despite what they say about their appearance throughout
after Basic Instinct, at least she is able to act. But between this
much, I am sure that a dead goldfish seems to be emoting
effectively.
In general, PA4 gets a 2 out of ten for me. It's like a good
relic of what happens when you try to appeal to everyone, and that has some truly funny moments
, but just can not hold a candle to their predecessors, especially the first
.
