Ben Cronin has it all: the admiration of his many friends, a terrific girlfriend, and he's on the fast-track to an athletic scholarship. Not that it's been easy - every day Ben juggles countless hours in the pool (training for a critical swim meet), with a job at the local hospital, and finding quality time with his high school sweetheart, Amy. Ben's rock-solid, promising future and romance with Amy are turned upside-down with the arrival of Madison Bell. Madison, the "new girl in town," quickly sets her sights on the impressionable Ben. While their first few meetings are innocent enough, the obsessive and seductive Madison wants more - much more. Seducing Ben is only beginning; she becomes his biggest "fan" and most unexpected nightmare, as her obsessions quickly spiral out of control into betrayal, madness and, ultimately, murder.

This is one of those movies that proves once again that there are limits to how much
decent production values can redeem a bad script.
Lenny Bruce had a great line that covers the situation: "You can not get snot
a chamois shirt. "Directed by the guy who Helmed" Hide and seek, "

if I've never seen one) has some good camera work and decent acting
go for it, but not much more. It is one of those films that you have

adolescents, it is likely that many of his viewers have not even heard of "Fatal Attraction
', let alone seen.

"Swimfan" is located in one of those high schools that exist only in movies
- You know, that appear to be populated almost entirely by the twentieth
something and hunks girls (with the occasional nerd thrown a) and
that seem to be totally devoid of teachers, principals, counselors or any other adult
supervisory staff to run the place (in all fairness, we
to see a coach swimming). None of these students are never seen attending a class
, cracking open a book or do any task, but then what kind of
spoil the fun of high school experience now, not
?

Ben Cronin (Jesse Bradford) is not asking much of life. All they want is
to be left alone to concentrate on your pool so that he will be in
best way to impress the scouts who are leaving Stanford to take a look
him. That is his plan anyway, until one day in his life, Belle walks
Madison (Erika Christensen), a beautiful young seductress, which he

voice mail, email, IM. The possibilities are endless. Is this enough to make a long
