If nothing else, the movie justifies its existence to the restaurant scene
at first, where Quinn pronounced over the line. Short whatsoever
That scene was the magic cinema, especially if you study Quinn's face as he
offers words. The brief pause makes you wonder if the reality
line that had hit him momentarily, as was fatally ill with throat cancer
during the shooting. He died before the film's liberation
Hollywood ending one of the most illustrious screen career - which spanned six decades
. Limited and the role of Angelo was
is enough to say "goodbye", and with such dignity. Quinn "transmitted" in its ten-minute
screen here that others have accumulated in a lifetime.
Would have been delighted to be working until his last breath, literally. Stallone
even see if it really closely, appears to extend a genuine reverence
his co-star in the opening minutes.

I have any hope of understanding or even "taste" this movie,
you would have to be over 40 with a depth and knowledge not everyone has.
This is NOT a "surface" of cinema. If that is all I can see, you're wasting your time
. It is not fun, chemistry, subtle humor-and at least .... and a decent
history. Whether you view it as parodying the godfather (which sometimes seems to be doing
) or less to tell a simple story of revenge
... Mafia-style, this movie has moments of genuine drama beloved.
Many reviewers seem to feel short-changed are hoping that,
THE VALACHI Documents 2 or the curse of Don Corleone .... nor is this
Putra wallowing in the wake of OSCAR, Stallone the last "stab" so to speak, to portray
unfunny eccentricities of the "Cosa Nostra".

I will not bother rehashing the plotline enough .... we have done here.
I would simply say that it is a great shame that went straight to video - Quinn
way deserve more respect than that, and so did this movie. I agree with the reviewer
which offered a 6.6 per be reasonable. As I said, however, you have
to view the latest plot holes, inequality and address oddball
characterizations. Stallone and Stowe surrendered to a good job
here!


All comments seem really critical of this movie calling it the worst
Stallone movie ever ... You obviously have not seen many of his films.
Treating the film as light and little comedy / romance is obviously meant to be

We hope that every time.

The story could be improved slightly, but as a film dedicated to the life of
Anthony Quinn I found quite moving. Try to remember, not
around the world always wants to see extended out complicated films 3 hours
leave you wondering what just happened. It is good only for
kicking back and see something very easy. I think to cast as Frankie
Stallone in this movie was a stroke of genius. Nothing better than the movies that has
fact that all purposes to have him as some burn'ta along the hill
character. Madeline is always a pleasure to see if anything more
that its ability to illuminate the screen. I gave the film 10 of the 10
for being good within their own boundaries.
