Luc Besson's signature style is all the writing of this very fine little film
. His ability to push the buttons on the screen most violent
while businesses gradually developing a story of warm feeling
is well served by director Louis Leterrier and a perfect cast of actors.
Unleashed is one of the few examples of how martial arts and in good faith
theater can be mutually supportive in creating a film that is both athletic and gently
thrillingly bid.

Bart (Bob Hoskins) is a brutal loan shark bandit who makes his
'collections' accompanied by his "dog" Danny (Jet Li), a quiet man < br> Bart has raised form childhood to be a cage murderer, a man with a dog collar that when removed
unleashed a ferocious beast that kills
command of his master Bart. Bart keeps you in a cage, fed him, and he
used only for criminal offences. Danny unleashed is nothing more than a Pavlovian
animal and neck when it replaced by another, it becomes docile
with the sad eyes of a puppy.

During a 'collection' ido evil, Danny escapes and finds refuge in an antiques shop
basement, where he meets blind piano tuner Sam (Morgan Freeman
), A gentle man who gradually introduces Danny to music, trains
him as his assistant, and presents his' family '-
his step daughter Victoria (Kerry Condon) . With both of these welcome, offering people
Danny discovers how beautiful life can be. The history of
this point is how Danny choose between his life as a Pavlovian response
a murderer and the simple life of Sam and Victoria. The trip is not without stress
and this is a difficult transition that maintains the
spectator at the edge of the seat.

The marvel of this film lies in the extraordinary performances
not usually associated with martial arts movies. Jet Li makes some of its best athletic
in the fight against the movie, but fortunately, while
creates a character who is multidimensional and memorable - a very fine
acting jobs Li . Bob Hoskins is brilliant as the despicably cruel
Bart, Morgan Freeman adds a shine to his image of the fine blind Sam, and Kerry Condon
ago Zany Victoria and adorable at the same time. The action is excellent
captured by cinematographer Pierre Morel, with
aura of darkness into the cage Danny lives serving as a perfect foil to the martial arts
sequences.In short, this is a thin film on
low profile individuals and provides the public with

If I am always skeptical of Jet Li's English-speaking films, is
for good reason. They are generally crap. Too often, either
putting into the hands of incompetent managers who can not adequately film or edit
his impressive ability to martial arts and / or that is united
alongside a cast that includes a rapper too many . Also not helping
these films were poorly written and acted, failing to work as a showcase for
movements of Li or his charisma. It is therefore all the more gratifying
Unleashed passing through its entire running time without
succumb to one or other of these failures.

Jet Li stars as Danny, a fully grown man with the mind of a child who is a slave
literal / mascot to Bart (Bob Hoskins), a Glasgow mafia boss Danny
keeps in a cage and uses it as a form of "persusasion" to
we owe money. Like a dog, Danny wears a necklace, shy and seemingly
dumb whenever the surrounding around his neck, but a vicious murderer once
is unleashed.

After an incident with another criminal, Bart and Danny left for dead, that leaves a
injured Danny crawl to a warehouse where
taken under the wing of kindness of blind piano tuner Sam (Morgan Freeman) and his
stepdaughter, Victoria (Kerry Condon). Starting with a clean slate
, Danny arrives to enjoy their new life and loving family;
is no longer violence or cruelty something they face every day. But the fate hands
him to turn a bad luck when Bart is forced to confront not find
choice but to succumb to its violent side for the last time. The film

the premise, a violent man find a better life,
is nothing new, but rarely have I seen the simple but effective premise
delivered so well and with genuine heart. To my immense surprise,
is Jet Li's performance anchors the film, shows one side of
corrupts the innocence of children, like the enthusiasm that is sweet, moving
and sometimes even quite humorous. The transformation and natural
Danny undergoes maturity is the involvement, and is largely
Li's performance which we hope Danny can completely shed their old lives
even though we know that inevitably will catch up with him.

Li is surrounded by a fantastic cast with great actors Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins
pulling its own weight. Freeman offers as always,
graciously playing with the authority figure soft but firm resolve.
Hoskins is over-the-top, but conveniently to Bart, whom we are very confident
slag is complete, yet can not be ruled out that he owns in Danny
a certain appreciation, and that may actually be the only person in the world cares about
Bart, however twisted one way to show of their choice.
Relative newcomer Kerry Condon is beautiful and attractive, although she
just as easily could have won me over with that big grin of it.

As a kick-ass action film, Unleashed is magnificent. The list of measures to
history might be a bit less hardcore fans of martial arts desire, but there is no question
all facets of the plot reinforces the fight scenes,
give all the battles and a palpable underlying current of emotion that
adds to the excitement of the show. And this action is spectacular;
each fight scene especially the brutal opening sequence and
exciting, almost emotionally exhausting climax is brilliantly filmed and edited
, Li wisely with an emphasis on the natural capacity
in favour of the quick cuts and wirework. There are some cases of
Matrix-style slow motion, but the use of works parts for the film advantage. There are even
a terrible scene of fighting inside a small bathroom that outdoes
a measure similar scene in The Matrix.

a winner in almost every way (except
being that the title should be changed back to Danny the Dog, but I am
not be held against the film),
Unleashed offers some of the best action scenes I've seen to go hand in hand with memorable characters
I adored and a story to me riveted from start to finish. I
also not lightly director Louis Leterrier, which puts everything
along with the proper combination of strong natural style and stories.
Why can not action films this good?
