The "Little Red Hiding Hood" fairytale gets an imaginative update. After The Wolf (Patrick Warburton) is found at Granny's charged with an intent to eat an investigation starts up by Nick Fippers (David Odgen Stiers). Red (Anne Hathaway), The Wolf (Warburton), The Woodsman (Jim Beluchi) and Granny (Glenn Close) give their stories, Flippers and Cheif Grizzly (Xzibit) and the rest of the police try to find out who is the Goodie Bandit. I am upset at all "know-it-all" on these boards who are judging
this movie solely on the basis of what they think they see in the trailer.
One man was so far as to say that it was of poor quality of scriptwriting.
Let me just say this ... I spend most of my time helping to build a
feature animation look really good ... is my job.
've been involved with some very slick looking film. However,
not matter how good it looks, if not a good story, is still a crappy movie
.
Like the old saying goes: "you can polish a turd, but in the end all
is going to have a bright turd."
I saw deceived. What I can say from experience that
animation is not the largest, deformations are not the biggest and
overall technology of the film is not the largest. There have been many
"beautiful" movies to hit the silver screen. After all, this movie was made
in a shoe-string budget CG standards.
Having said that, I fell in love with this movie after five minutes.
The characters are beloved, the mood is fantastic and there is a
degree of originality and sophistication in scriptwriting and
stories that have not been seen before in the field of animation, by
not to mention a level of "cleansing" that is rare today.
And I'm pretty sure that I am not the only one who has this view ...
after all, Bob and Harvey Weinstein decided to distribute it.
Go see the movie ... you will not be disappointed.

This is a very fast pace movie that plays for two levels of success
animated films to play: Children are entertained, but so are the
parents. There are zingers that come out of nowhere,
some but not all of which are shown in the trailer. Some of those zingers
only draw the attention of adults in the house, but do not detract
children enjoy. However, some receive all generations to laugh, like the
"Run!" Sequence trailer. A little four seconds.
I was at a screening attended by families in business, but especially for children
. Hard laughter throughout the film. As for the quality of animation,
that was made clear in the cheap, do not notice it. The base
history of quality is there. I think it is also possible that this film can
nab the best song nomination. Some very catchy original music,
well orchestrated and well sung. However, it is worth the trip to the theater,
and worth buying the DVD.
Sequel likely.
