Earl and Hank have only one thing in common: they're both L.A.P.D. rejects. One just got kicked out, the other can't even get in. After confronting each other on opposite sides of the law during a traffic stop that escalates out of control, these two luckless individuals end up partnered as lowly security guards. Despite being damned to the lowest rung of the law enforcement ladder, Earl and Hank uncover a sophisticated smuggling operation led by Nash and his band of thugs. When Earl and Hank get their hands on some hot property, they go on the run from, first the bad guys, then the L.A.P.D.—led by Lt. Washington and Detective McDuff. What these two unlikely partners do to law enforcement is a crime, but they just might save the day. That is, if they don't kill each other first.

This film offers two or three cheap laughs, but overall
is a real disappointment. The story is not too bad, and action is fine, but it is not
something worth watching twice. If you have an hour and a half to kill

may not be a complete waste of your time.
I know Lawrence can act. All you have to do it is with Eddie Murphy
in this unusual movie about a pair of convicts during his long imprisonment
. Failure to act here. It is annoying. National Security
is a buddy cop movie that thinks it's the new millennium or Lethal Weapon
BEVERLY HILLS COP, but rather as a shot-STV with a fairly large
budget. Lawrence and Steve Zahn are a matching pair on the track of a group of thieves
top secret government material. Zahn is a sad sack
who loses his job as a police officer for allegedly beating Lawrence -
captured on video, of course - and Lawrence is a police academy reject
working as a guard security. Eric Roberts is completely wasted as the bleached blond
leader of thieves. Any resemblance to a plot is just about nonexistent
and so is virtually a lift of LW4
that must be seen to be believed. A shootout at a Coca Cola bottling plant is undoubtedly
fizzy but nothing more than simple product placement, and a car chase
Zahn participation of the former Chevy across the horseback and on top of Junker
an endless pile of cars is simply stupid. Stick with BAD BOYS if you must see
Lawrence.
