Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole Kidman) Owens have always known they were different. Raised by their aunts (Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing) after their parents' death, the sisters grew up in a household that was anything but typical--their aunts fed them chocolate cake for breakfast and taught them the uses of practical magic. But the invocation of the Owens' sorcery also carries a price--some call it a curse: the men they fall in love with are doomed to an untimely death. Now adult women with very different personalities, the quiet Sally and the fiery Gillian must use all of their powers to fight the family curse and a swarm of supernatural forces that threatens the lives of all the Owens women.

Although this film received a lot of negative feedback from the press
I think that is one of the best movies I've seen! The performance, configuration, etc. It
ground in all the characters and easy to relate to. This
also received a lot of bad press organizations Wicca - I am interested in crafts and

also found the film to convey information in a suitable container and exciting way
- Excellent!
Practical Magic I liked a lot. I would not want to think because it was
two sisters and appears to be a "Chick Flick." However, there was much more
the film that the relationship between Sally and Gillian Owens.
For example, Gillian is possessed by the soul of his cruel mate after Sally
accidentally kills him too magic. Also, the curse
Owens plays a key role in the film. I was surprised by the film and I know that
should have done much more money, but when the release was probably
wrong. Good actors, and the right direction. I bet the book is good
too.
