The killer doll is back! The all-new film is the fifth in the popular series of Chucky ("Child's Play") horror comedies. Making his directorial debut is the franchise creator and writer of all five films, Don Mancini. The film introduces Glen (voiced by "The Lord of the Rings" star Billy Boyd), the orphan doll offspring of the irrepressible devilish-doll-come-to-life Chucky (again voiced by series star Brad Dourif) and his equally twisted bride Tiffany (again voiced by Jennifer Tilly). When production starts on a movie detailing the urban legend of his parents' lethal exploits, Glen heads for Hollywood where he brings his bloodthirsty parents back from the dead. The family dynamics are far from perfect as Chucky and Tiffany go Hollywood and get rolling on a new spree of murderous mayhem; much to gentle Glen's horror. Chucky can't believe that his child doesn't want to walk in his murdering footsteps, and star-struck Tiffany can't believe that the movie will star her favorite actress, Jennifer Tilly (playing herself), who soon becomes an unwitting hostess to this new family in more ways than one...

I never had the courage to look bride of Chucky. The second Child's Play
was quite difficult for the nerves. But I found seeds of Chucky
tolerable, and if I dare say, there was a visual art to the film
non-existent at present more conventional displays. I can not explain it, and
to be fair, not to see this movie because of art direction, please.
This film deals with Chucky and Tiffany's boy who found his parents
Hollywood. The shift is worrying that the child has a problem that only
Ed Wood understood: it was Glen or Glenda? This leads to some
disturbing moments, especially toward the end. At around the
film sucks, and horror, whether there are any in the series to begin
, is nowhere to be found. I swear the movie feels almost like a TV episode
but this is a redemptive quality, believe me. Some
cameos here and there, but only after some tasks I do not think. S Club 7
Hannah is also there, but throughout the film I wonder
Spice Girl that I have been seeing on the screen. For Billy Joel, good
die young, but as seeds of Chucky not have a prayer of obtaining any chance
remorse.
The murderer doll Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) and his wife
Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) are back from the dead thanks to his son pacifist
Glen (voiced by Billy Boyd). For the fifth film in the franchise,
Hollywood at the helm when they learn that a film is being made about
them, and of course, Chucky and Tiff go into a Hollywood-style murder
spree, forcing his son to try to stop them.

What was once a promising franchise is now a kind of joke to see. The
first film was quite good, offering enough scares and emotions
to satisfy the viewer. The second and third films were bad sequels that
offers no alarms or emotion. Bride of Chucky
is an improvement over the past two sequels, but still missing something that made the first
good. So, Seed of Chucky where appropriate? I am sad to report that
latter entry is closer to bad sequels to the original
. It is better than the second and third inning, but the film is
a kind of failure. First, there are a lot of gore, but the film is not afraid
. Even the death scenes are a bit disappointing.

Secondly, Seed of Chucky is actually more of a comedy than a horror film.
The director tries to mix these two genres together and that simply will not work
. In addition to Jennifer Tilly, most of the jokes are lame and Chucky
is not that funny. Thirdly, Don Mancini really dropped the ball and
focused more on the aspect of comedy rather than actually trying to put
real scared in. The story really had the potential to be fearsome and completely
failed. The only saving grace is a Seed of Chucky
Jennifer Tilly. She offers a fun, involving performance and she is so good to have fun doing
sport itself. She is the only thing that keeps this film alive
. The rest of the cast includes support for Red Man
and Hannah Spearritt. None of them even do anything special. For me, this
film was a big disappointment and I really hope that this is the last
film of the franchise. After all, this film is best left to
platform. Rating 5 / 10
