'It's Monopoly out there'. Jason Staebler, The King of Marvin Gardens, has gone directly to jail, lives on the Boardwalk and fronts for the local mob in Atlantic City. He is also a dreamer who asks his brother, David, a radio personality from Philadelphia to help him build a paradise on a Pacific Island - asking him to believe in yet another of his dreams, yet another of his get-rich-quick schemes. But luck is against them both and the game ends badly - real life reduced to radio drama.

Like many others here, it overlooked a penalty
artistic triumph that deserves greater reputation.

want to make an observation that I think has gone through almost all
reviewer and critic of this film: There is a moment, a moment
only in the film when there is music banda sonora. This occurs as
walk outside the stadium after mock "Miss americas" pageant.
Why do you think this happens?

My theory: This is the thematic high point of the film. The highest level of achievement
who have succeeded in making their dreams. Since then
to a harsher reality intrudes into the fantasy. If this continues, then
you begin to see how dramatically the film is constructed as a whole.

It is a masterpiece of form.
I thought it was higher than the flesh and I am a bit surprised by the reaction
for it at the time of liberation. After five pieces and easy
Stay Hungry before this película'72 was thrown aside and dismiss the appeal. I suppose
Nicholson are not sufficiently used their eyebrows to public taste.
Bruce Dern gives a superb performance as his shyster brother-
dreamer with big plans. Ellen Burstyn is justifiably paranoid, and gives a
adorable. The couple Julie Ann Robinson is terrible.

7 out of 10. Best performance = Bruce Dern. The shooting and
Scatman John Ryan and has a fascinating piece of mind. What happened with Bob Rafelson
