Romantic comedy set in London in the late 16th century: Young playwright William Shakespeare struggles with his latest work "Romeo and Ethel the Pirate's Daughter". A great fan of Shakespeare's plays is young, wealthy Viola who is about to be married to the cold-hearted Lord Wessex, but constantly dreams of becoming an actress. Women were not allowed to act on stage at that time (female roles were played by men, too), but dressed up as a boy, Viola successfully auditions for the part of Romeo. Soon she and William are caught in a forbidden romance that provides rich inspiration for his play.

I had high hopes for this movie the first time I saw the trailer.
I'm happy to say that the film will live up to the previews. While it is
simple house an art class, which manages to be profound and accessible
at the same time. Therefore, many art house films manage to be merely
pretentious, as if directed to people who want to believe that they are having a
intellectual experience rather than those who are truly open to
one. This film shows that we can make a film of substance that is
at the same time very entertaining.
one thing that stood out was how they showed enough
performance of Romeo and Juliet so that you could understand what the
they are playing without a film of the work per se.
There are many parallels between the game and fictional events of the film,
and this will stress the importance of great literature
the human condition. Actual performance of the work has been performed so well
that there was a time when a character in the book is in a fight
and I said to myself "are actually fighting, you really boy stabbed !
hence, often within a play is a film acted in a very gradual, so
this is a pleasant surprise. And for anyone who is a fan of Shakespeare
is easy to find little tidbits to think about - such as
the fact that Shakespeare himself was fond of "play within a play

Amid the tragedy there is a genuine comic relief, as in Shakespeare
