The film begins on board an escape vessel in which Ripley, Newt, Hicks, and a droid called Bishop are traveling on. The pod crashes on a planet inhabited by prisoners who have been left to govern themselves in a facility, killing Newt, Hicks, and destroying Bishop. Ripley is revived from her cryo-sleep from the prison doctor and soon discovers what happened to her and her remaining crew members. After calling for assistance from the Company they wait for Ripley to be transported off the planet, as she doesn't belong there. After a short time, a shaven-headed Ripley starts discovering that prisoners are being killed in a very similar manner to that of the Aliens she has faced in the previous two films. Once this is discovered, she and the remaining prisoners must devise a plan to kill the Alien that stalks the prison facility, hiding in ventilation shafts. However, she soon discovers that that it isn't the only Alien on the planet. There is also a Queen, but where?

Director Ridley Scott's well-sharp talent and pace of editing
create a tense atmosphere that perfectly conveys fear and fear of a stranger, you do not see
evil entity. In 1979, the technology does not exist to generate a computer
image of a being from another world, and thank God, because this movie
have aspired like all these post-Alien creature features. All
who loves this movie knows what I'm talking about. Ridley Scott
had to be extremely careful not to show a shot full of Aliens, except in very brief
scenes, and not disclose exactly how it moves, because then we would be
that is just some tall , Thin guy in a rubber suit. Today, some
team guy than a whip really fear the future, but nevertheless
fake the future (yes, guys, let's say) Alien, and the director does not have to even
think of trying to breathe life into HR Giger's
hallucinations to take a picture with success.
The dark, cold beauty of this film will never be matched.
The start of one of the greatest series of all time. This film is
always remain a classic. It is fear, influential and insanely entertaining.
Not only that, but Ridley Scott has done a great sense of style and humor
and he who plays with a lot to make us tremble. There is also an interesting mystery that surrounds
abroad we know virtually nothing about
. Sigourney Weaver is as powerful as usual and really brings
strength to the film, but make one. Last but not least, the musical score.
Wow! It's fantastic. I think the Alien series is known for
this aspect as well. Let's hope that will continue the series and we need all dang DVD
!
