It's a quiet morning in New York City...until a massive bomb explodes in the Bonwit Teller department store, causing several vehicles to flip, and causing several drivers to come to a sudden stop. This throws the NYPD into a frenzy, trying to sort out what's going on. At the station, Inspector Walter Cobb of the NYPD's major case unit gets a call from a man who calls himself Simon. Simon asks for Lieutenant John McClane, and Walter tells Simon that John, who is now an alcoholic, is on suspension. Simon wants John to go to the corner of 138th Street and Amsterdam in Harlem and wear a racist sign. Walter and his fellow officers Joe Lambert, Connie Kowalski, and Ricky Walsh find John, who is now an alcoholic who is seperated from his wife Holly, and they talk to him. Ricky tells Walter that there have been 3 killings in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn in the past two nights, and 14 dump trucks were stolen from a construction yard on Staten Island. John wants to know where the backup is going to be, and Walter tells him that the backup will be on 128th Street, 10 blocks away. John complains that 10 blocks is too far away for the backup to be. Walter tells John that Simon has threatened to detonate another bomb if the police don't do what he says. John wants to know why he's been targeted by Simon, but no one knows why. While John is in Harlem, store owner Zeus Carver rescues John from a black street gang that was beating John up because of the sign. John and Zeus find themselves stuck with each other as Simon continues his antics and forces John and Zeus to work together to do what he tells them, but John and Zeus can't stop one of Simon's bombs from blowing up a subway station, and it turns out that Simon is Simon Peter Gruber the brother of Hans Gruber, the terrorist that John rescued the Nakatomi building from in Los Angeles years ago. The question now is, is this about revenge on John, or is Simon planning something a lot bigger?

Someone calling himself Simon alli several bombs in downtown New York City
. Then, establishing a series of dangerous tasks for
Officer John McClane to bring him or detonate more. McClane is set to meet the demands of terrorists
with the viewer to Zeus Carver
trailer.

This is the third in the Die Hard series and makes it immediately
improvement in the second round so the original director John McTiernan
. Here the movie makes no attempt to repeat the formula
the first film (terrorists / wife / rescue), but it takes a whole new plot, while still
the link in the first film. The second film
tried to repeat the first film of the plot, but located in an airport, here the other point of view
makes it feel much cooler and it feels like a movie in itself. The tie in the first
film is intelligent and not too much of a stretch of the imagination - happily
this is not the reason for the action itself - rather than the main objective is the terrorist
gold held in vaults of the Federal Reserve on Wall Street, but
the game with McClane is a special treatment.

McTiernan was very much in the first film, doing everything they feel tense and claustrophobic
. Here's the whole New York City to run through the camera and
shows this new freedom. In the action scenes that the camera swings wildly
round and focus zooms in on the action. During the scenes in offices established so
containing a large amount of dialogue from the camera prowls round is slowly dying as
to rush into the next stage of action. It is the opposite-style
in the first film and again makes it feel different enough to be a movie in its own right
. Generally

series of films can get a lot of baggage (see Lethal Weapon 4 for
test), but here the repetition of all the characters are dropped, including women McClane
features only as a voice on the phone. And that works well here and
only characters that are carried here McClane (of course) and
Hans Gruber (in a flashback). This frees the film basically go as far
want without having to squeeze into old characters how the second film
did. However, the links of the films that have alleged
Simon Gruber taking revenge for the death of his brother. The new asset to feel this film
really gives life and elevates the series out of the hole that the second film
had threatened to make.

The chemistry between Willis and Jackson is big and lends a lot of comedy
the film, there's a lot of racial humor between the two
and Jackson is more than the "black Sidekick" ; Which exists in many films. Irons
continues the fine tradition of English actors playing villains and Hollywood is good for most
. His stutters ticks and stop anywhere near being as good
Rickman as was the original paper, but he is still good. Willis
receives good support from people like Graham Greene, Larry Bryggman and Colleen Camp as
fellow policemen, but in reality he and Jackson lead the show.

Some of the scenes are a bit forced and the plot is not always easily join together
(a scene where Willis was fired from a water pipe as well as Jackson
now driving is a little too convenient), but many iffy bits
can be overlooked if you focus on the action. The most effective way of what
the return of the first film is the musical score. In the first film of the
Result used variants of Christmas music to dramatic effect, the score here
uses music as well add to the tension and comedy in a different way.
It is difficult to put into words but this effect had disappeared from the second
film.

The film has a hatful of nice twists towards the end and the only problem is
the conclusion that Canada does not feel like is part of (the original ending was
changed following the Okalahoma bombing), but this is a minor problem
in a film that is a great addition to action by
Die Hard series.
Die Hard: With a Vengeance deserves to be graded on a list of ten best action films
. The first two Die Hard movies were brilliant, but this share
blowing the first two out of the water.

Bruce Willis returns as police officer John McClane and lieutenant in this movie that
teams with Samuel L. Jackson as Zeus Carver to stop the evil Jeremy Irons
which is planning to cause chaos and destruction around
New York.

If you're a fan of non-stop action films like Speed, then this is the film
with you. Do not stop for a second, is one of those movies where
his heart beats as fast as the characters and by the end of the film,
you feel like you ran around New York to pursue a bomber. That is how
all good action films should be.

think it will not be an exaggeration to say that Die Hard: With a Vengeance
deserves to be rated one of the first action films of 1990. All you have to be
do now is make Die Hard 4, I hope that this top
... although the film would be quite easy.
