His odyssey, which next takes him into a world of wealthy sex play at a masked ball of hedonism, threatens his life, his self-respect, and his marriage.

I'm sitting here trying to reach an intelligent comment about this
to make the movie you want to see. When
really does not matter what I say. As Stallone would say "I'm at least half an ass." The truth is
to that kind of makes me sad that I will probably never see another movie
that affects both. Never a movie experience that is
6 years after release, still can not forget.

To say the majority, is a powerful film. The location is world class.
The camera work is disturbing and banda sonora gives me chills. It
Cruises at its finest. He is so convincing that one can really
believe that this guy is Dr. Bill Harford
and this really happened to him. And that my friends is the defining act. The
gravity of the situation with a smile fades as the stern
plot thickens.

To say the least, is one of those films that could see
over and over again. To be honest with you, I do not buy the first time I saw
. I thought it was good, but not much. Then one day I was bored, so I decided
see again. And that is what happened. Kubrick
came alive. I became infected by his genius and captivated by the Cruise
image. His conduct and his record.

It is difficult to collect my favorite scene in the movie. I could not pretend
if I tried. I especially like the opening scene. That leads to a
"Baby did a bad thing wrong." Cruise being assaulted in the street are
so eloquently called a slave. The prostitute. From the piano bar at the
costume shop. And finally, the orgy unionized part, which I find it hard to believe
not actually exist. Perhaps only the boys as Kubrick or Cruise
never really knows whether they do or not.

Many people may disagree with me when I say Eyes Wide Shut
is one of the greatest movies. But how come, I think it is becoming I watch?
For me, is just a beautiful work of art. More than a visceral
picture painted or a memorable melody. It is a masterpiece that should be treasured

Kubrick achieved once again with Eyes Wide Shut. Stanley had begun
manipulate the public months ago, before his death when
spread misinformation about his latest film. For those who have not seen the film
, I am not going to ruin everything that is going to say is that everything that
may hear about the film is not true, so you just have to see it < br> to find out for yourself, and then form their own opinion.

really can not begin to comment on everything in this movie, so I try not
... Instead I will write some comments, and things that
I caught my initial vision.

I was impressed from the beginning scene, as the camera "Waltz" A
beaten beaten, round-trip from Cruise and Kidman, who are preparing for a night out
by the city, Kubrick classic. I do not think
director has successfully merged with every shot and then better sound
Kubrick has throughout his career (eg 2001 and Thus spake
Zaratustra), and Eyes Wide Shut is no exception, with a note piano
made by the theater uncomfortable and nervous. This perfect combination of
film, audio and humor is a technical masterpiece.

Another great thing about Kubrick films is rarely
contain a final point, which leaves open the interpretation to the viewer.
The following are some of mine, but by no means can be near his
or anyone else.

Eyes Wide Shut is not an erotic film, but rather is a film about
apparent chaos within each of us, with eroticism and most importantly
sex is one of the faces of this chaos. It is one of the things
within us that makes us all the more noble and, while cruel
then any other creature, is what separates us. I believe that with
Eyes Wide Shut, Stanley explores this in the same way he explored
violence in A Clockwork Orange.

however, does not condemn the theme of this movie, and not
he introduced that can cause havoc in people who are struggling to understand
its presence in their lives.

With the characters of Bill and Alice, Kubrick
offers two different sides of the spectrum with Bill and Alice (Cruise and Kidman) Bill
represents someone who has embraced, but is blinded by It
pursued with zeal of a hedonistic, but he loses,
not understand why it is acting in the way it does.

In contrast, Alice has never acted, Kidman is the nature
more aware of the confusion within it, and their dreams, but it seems
fear of what is happening, hiding and the suppression of what is within it, maintains
locked inside her while she is awake, but is always in front of her at night.

At the beginning of the film, nor the character is successful, once again
Kubrick does not give credence to any of the parties, rather they discredit him, because the

quite positive. In many of his films, by the time he is finished
descending into chaos, the pieces are scattered and too far to
with any closure. The reality did not collapse in the film as it progresses,
but things tend to fall together, magically forming a better order, out
of broken pieces of the past.

Go see the movie for yourself, ignore what you have heard,
either positive or negative, and as the lights dim, try to open our eyes and
Mind as much as is humanly possible, and see what the film makes you
and what makes you think. I think that's all
Kubrick wanted to achieve, to give us a moment of pause and think, although he has to
in shock you do. Oh! And fun to find the Christmas tree in
every scene.

An incredible film that should be nominated for several Oscar categories
in coming years.
